I recently received my TRDP15 Heavy Duty High Speed Siphon to complement my survival gear, and I must say, I'm not at all disappointed. It's construction does feel "heavy duty" and it seems to be made from quality materials. It works pretty quickly, and is very simple to use. You put the straight tube in the liquid you want to siphon, and the flexible tube in the container you want to move the liquid to, give the bulb a couple of quick easy squeezes and viola...liquid's moving. I haven't yet timed it out to see just how much volume it can move in a given time period, but it looks to be pretty quick. If I knew before I bought it what I know now, I still would have. I would absolutely recommend the TRDP15 to any friend, family member, or random stranger who was looking for a quick, easy way to move liquids from one container to another. In fact, I intend to get another one for myself just as soon as I can.

Makes siphoning a breeze. A few squeezes and your siphon is running like gang busters. I have a three gallon water bottle onto which I have attached a hand pump. The bottle sits on a small stool and the hand pump is very convenient. It is located in a room where I do not have running water but where I go through quite a bit of water for other purposes. I carry the water to refill the bottle in a 2-1/2 gal jug which is heavy and awkward for me to pour esp given the small size opening of the 3 gallon water bottle. Instead, I sit the jug on a small table next to the water bottle and start the siphon - the water comes gushing out of the jug and into the water bottle. It transfers the water so fast that I normally just wait for it rather than going off to do something else. Of course the speed of any siphon is a function of the height difference between the two containers and the diameter of the siphon tubing. It does not even take two minutes for the water to completely transfer - probably 70 or 80 seconds and it is a done deal. For anyone interested, here is the link to the hand pump. Best pump for b-17 chemical stripper. I've used this pump for years, only had to buy a new one because I broke my first one. ( my fault )... thank you guy for a great product

Works good considering how cheaply made it is. The discharge end could be longer.
