Helpfull directions on how to install on a Ford Fusion
Installing the high beams on any Ford Fusion is an undertaking like no other. It's just plain hard. After removing all the front fascia, the undercarriage guard, the front cover of the car itself, and the lights themselves, you have the added distinction of owning the one car that makes light bulb changing a real pain in the butt. After years of purchasing inferior LED lighting, (CAB, CREE whatever) and knowing what a difficulty it was to change the bulbs even with halogens, do you wind up realizing that there is just NO ROOM for the average LED bulb to fit into the complicated housing that is the Ford Fusion. I'm here to say, that you can have High Beams, and have them be quality LED, and without cutting your existing lamp housing, with the Cougar Wireless Headlights. ***(Update for Fall 2020: Another company called NordLichter also has a similar design so those work too for $10 less, but no fan, so I'm not sure on longevity.)***The side fan design, and the ability to remove the guide ring, is the only reason these worked for me. (A thin needle-nose pliers will come in handy here.) Because I could remove the guide ring, I was able to get the stock clip to hold the light in place, meaning that going over bumps, my lights wouldn't bounce with the car. Prior incarnations of LED lighting made this impossible, and because of huge heat sinks and fans you can forget about putting the stock rubber weather gasket back on. However, while you could replace the H11 low beams, you couldn't do the same for the H7 high beams because the light just wouldn't fit, no matter what. With these lights, you get a bright beam of reflective light that sits properly in the reflector housing, and does it ever shine. I love these lights, so much so that I plan to keep a back up set, in case someone gets an idea to discontinue these. (Ever notice how the good things tend to disappear on you?) I will tell you a caveat. Unlike older style light bulbs, you don't get as full a "pattern". What I mean is, if you take a flashlight and hold it close to the ground, you see that bright circle, well your not going to get that with LED's in a Reflector housing. It's not possible, there will be slightly dark and/or less bright areas, so understand that going forward. In Projector housings, as these H7's are, you get a LOT of light output. Directions for installation. Crank down your lights to the lowest level. This will give you room to put them in, cause its still a bit tight. Push down and remove the snap ring that your clip holds, and align that properly with the tab on the ring with the space in your lights. Reinstall your set clip, but don't engage it on the hook, instead insert your bulb part way into the hole AND wrap the cord for the bulb in a semi-circle backwards to the way you will turn the bulb later on. Plug the plug onto the bulb, you may need a mini pliers/large tweezers to help get it on. Set the clip in place over the ring, but under the bulb. Then twist your bulb into place. Thankfully they made these out of die-cast metal, so you get a little leverage to do this twisting, and I'm sure it helps with heat dissipation. I just love that someone made a bulb that not only fits, but works as a high beam, AND also is able to be clipped down so it doesn't bounce. Thanks Cougar Motors for making something that works, and fits properly. Halogens weren't bad but having identical color temperature on both lights is wonderful. I didn't take before/after pics of my high beams. The halogens are plenty bright, and so too are these. You will NOT be disappointed.Fall 2020 Update: I am still using these, and love the light output, now a year later. Not sure why people rate these poorly sometimes, my guess is that they need a CANBUS decoder in some cars. There is also an adapter to plug the lights into your H7 plug I found later (of course), that helps with installation. You may wish to sand down the inside "slightly" of your housing, to help with adjusting the headlights later. I didn't find a problem, but not every product is going to be exactly made, exactly the same way, every time. Good Luck.

These are Awesome, like Die-Cast Matchbox Cars
I adore these lights. I searched for 2 whole months for something to go into my 2015 Ford Fusion that would not only fit into the confined space of the light housing, but also provide the brightness and thick lighting I was looking for. It's not just about how "bright" something is, or the "lumens" as many manufacturers like to taut. Indeed, I had some fog lights from another company that were very bright, and looked perfect outside the box, all shiny and gold, but the placement of the LED's in the plastic fog lamp housing didn't "throw" enough light out onto the road, where its needed. The Cougar Motor Lights, in this Golden model are exceptionally built. One of the troubles I've had with lights of the past, LED chiefly among them, is getting all of what is included to fit inside the housing, and still seal it up with the weather-tight, rubber gaskets that come on the Fusion. I really didn't want to have to take a cutting tool and cut out parts of the light housing, just to get an LED to fit. I know they do sell modified weather gaskets on Amazon, which I suggest if your going to go with the other style of LED's as this well allow the fan to protrude out the back, and have the needed ventilation to keep the light from dying on you. These H11's are wonderful, they just plug in, and your done. I suggest for adjusting the headlights on the low beams (which is what these replaced) to pull up perpendicular to another vehicle, and lower the lights until they are just about 4 inches from the side window of another car. This way if you go over a bump/rise you won't automatically blind an oncoming driver. These lights remind me Die-cast Matchbox cars. While not shiny gold as depicted in the picture, they are fully metal. So they're not going to break on you, if you have to give them a little push to get the lights to install securely. I noticed the old LED's I had in the lens, which were only about 3 months old, the outer glass had shattered and the bulb itself seemed a bit loose in its socket.I've had these lights installed for 3 weeks [Now going past 1 year]. I have had no issues, no flickering, no problems at all. My pics are taken with a Canon 6D at various apertures using an ND-8 filter to show the difference, in before and after. My old LED's were the 4-way kind, with those large pads that throw light everywhere. Fortunately the Fusion has a half-cap inside the projector lenses to prevent light from escaping in a circle, and make it more flat and DOT conforming. The pictures speak for themselves. The first two pics are of my old LED's in the same projector housing. Sorta bright, but doesn't "throw" the light ahead nearly enough to make driving, in anywhere but a well-lit city worthwhile. Sadly I paid about the same for these 4-way, large yellow pad lights. Note: that the Cougar lights are a little bit longer than the stock Halogens, so be careful shoving them into your vehicle's light housing. While the light is less concentrated on the ground in front, it "projects" further down the road. Note: I can see much farther with the Cougar LEDs, and in the suburbs you tend not to use High Beams as there is always someone coming. These are easy to install, minus the time it takes to tear apart the whole front end of a Ford Fusion, which is like a 4-6 hour process the first time, and a 2-3 hour process the 2nd time. Hint: Loosen the bolt in the fender well, and remove the plastic center bolt, but don't take out the bolts, just pull the fascia off.***The trick with replacing your lights...add something else to it. Do an oil change, antifreeze flush, anything because for the time spent taking your car apart, you better do something else while all the covers and cowls are removed because it's a lot of screw-bolts to get off for just a set of headlights. --Brett S. Much improved beam pattern than previous versions
I recently upgraded from a previous set of LED headlights for my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Installation on these was easy and quick, a pair of needle nose pliers works great to grab the clips. I like the beam pattern on these much more. It has a nice horizontal cutoff to keep the light out of the eyes of oncoming drivers. The brightness is medium compared to other LED sets, which is perfect. I'm not trying to upset other drivers with obnoxiously bright beams. The other thing I like is this set has no cooling fan, just a passive heat sink. I'm not sure if this will reduce longevity, but only time will tell. Overall, a great set of after market LED headlights for the money.

Whoa! Welcome to the future
Amazing! My dreams have finally come true, a led H4 replacement bulb that fits without any modifications to existing hardware. These bulbs are slightly larger than stock bulb, but they snap in all the same. Light is clean, white, and bright!! No more yellow glow. No strange humming from fans, high and low beam, all great! Installed in a 2009 highlander.

Junk
Do not recommend! The quality is a 2 out of 5. The brightness I could not tell you because as you can see from photos the headlights are oriented opposite with no adjustment, they requested I pull the bulbs and send the mfg more pictures but it takes little over an hr to remove the bulbs and I'd rather not Remove than reinstall and wait for new bulbs to show up so there for only options are to remove bulbs go buy new ones to put in or to deal with a defective item. Amazon is no better to deal with over this situation. Who Pays me for my lost time in a piss poor quality controle situation do not recommend

Easy to Install, Solid Build
I purchased these about a month ago. Considering the H11 Sylvania SilverStar® ULTRA Headlight I've purchased at Canadian Tire that only last 200hrs at $60.00 a pair, I had nothing to lose. Well, it turns out that these went in super easy, and last approximately 30,000hrs. They also feel solidly built as well. They are considerably brighter than the Sylvania SilverStar's as well. I'd certainly recommend these. I guess time will tell...

Those led fitted well on Highlander headlights but they are not that bright
They are not that bright. And I paid around around $100.Those Led not worth for that much price. I installed on my Highlander - H11 front low beam headlights. They fit well and doesn’t get too hot. I didn’t have to replace headlight dust cover with those led.I will update if they have any issues.

Does Fit 2020 Nissan Qashqai
Amazon says they do not fit my 2020 Nissan Qashqai but they do fit perfectly. I've rated 5 stars but I just installed them an hour ago so I may be back to adjust the rating.
