The towels are very soft and readily soak up the water. They can be used to exfoliate as well, if you apply a little more pressure. Unlike the regular, white version, those bamboo towels have a distinctive smell. It’s similar to a smell of warm wood. It’s very pleasant for me, but if you’re sensitive to smells you might want to consider the regular towels. They are on the expensive side but I found that each towel can be used twice with no problem. I make sure to spread the used towel on the box to dry for the next use. This way one box can last me around 2 months with a morning and evening face wash each day. They definitely made my skincare routine more hygienic.
