It does the desired effect and my hair certainly didn't have any red orange or brassy tones after using, and it's nice to finally have a product that does exactly what it's supposed to. My issue is that it left my hair a little dry, dull and bland looking. It gave me zero shine at all, and I had to use an oil afterwards to add health back into my hair.
