Mini arcade in a phone case
The battery life is not long, but when it’s charged it’s very entertaining and has good quality.

This is great to have. When I want to play a game I don't have to use my battery. The case has a charger and it lasts. I gave 4 stars because I thought Mario was on here but there is a game like Mario.

Totally worth the money, just get it.
Blast from the past. All the games are solid and operate just like original NES. Exception, Tetris you cannot hold the down button without having the block slam down. Also, there is no two player as it is a single person device. Code for super contra does not work allowing 30 lives. Front edging around the case is a little sharp and kind of hurts the ear when using the phone, I had to take a razor blade and shave off the sharp edging. I am a NES collector and have every device and game ever made, this thing is pretty cool. Full color screen and it lights up so you can play in the dark.

Poor quality on Case.
Pretty disappointed on the quality of this iPhone XR case that I ordered. Before I put my phone in the case, it was already ripped. Then I proceeded and all 4 corners ripped. Do better on the quality of the case itself.

For the price, it is acceptable with some minimal nitpicking.
I like the selection of games and they look to be genuine NES ports. There is no save feature so each time you power down the device, it resets the device. You can choose from Chinese and English. There are 36 games and they are a mix of NES titles both good a bad. Original Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers, Tetris, Contra, Donkey Kong and several others. Buttons: You have a power button which you must hold about 5 seconds to power the device on or off. There is a reset button that takes you back to the game selection menu. You have a start button in the place the select button should be, you will use this to launch the game in the selection menu or to pause games during play. You also have a volume button which gives you four levels - Off, quiet, medium, and loud. There is no headset jack so all sound comes from a tiny speaker. D Pad and A and B: The d pad and buttons have a tacky rubber feel to them. The D Pad is spongey and makes finer work in Super Mario like ducking under a block on level 1-2 very difficult. The A and B buttons are reversed so it does throw off the traditional layout. You cannot reassign the buttons through the game menus which means you are stuck with this layout. The a and B buttons do have pretty decent response. Overall Performance: The system has a problem with flex and it shows on the screen whenever I use the D Pad or A and B buttons. This bothers me as I am concerned with overall longevity. The case fit tightly on an Iphone 6S and IPhone 8. There are additional phone options to fit many other phones. Without a phone in the case, the flex is pretty bad. With a phone in the case, flex is still present. This along with the reversed buttons are my biggest gripes about this. With a decent screen protector, I believe the case would protect the phone from reasonable wear and tear. But there are no extra thick corners as found on most other phone cases. I am not sure this would be a good choice for protecting your phone from more serious drops. The screen on the back would also likely be damaged during any drop. Lastly, there is battery life. This is not really meant as a long term gaming solution but rather a functional novelty for occasional casual gaming use. I got about 3 hours of use when fully charged. At about 3 hours, the screen begins to fade until it goes dark. Sitting in the drawer, I was able to play the odd casual game of Tetris or Super Mario for about a week. It uses the old style Micro USB which means you'll have to keep one handy for charging. It does come with a cable, but it is about 6 inches long - pretty much useless. It would have been nice to use a charge cable compatible with the phone it is designed for, but at $20, this is a minor nit pick. There are far better hand-held consoles available in the $20-30 price range. Many no longer have actual NES roms. This won't beat out an actual GBA with a 120 rom gamepack. Many of these games are available for Nintendo Switch with the $20/year Online Subscription with new games appearing frequently. So finding these games is not impossible. The recent Nintendo Game and Watch also offers some of this and can be hacked to play other games, but requires some hardware and console hacking to accomplish. There is a myriad of other portable consoles available with many of these same titles or that can accommodate NES and several other consoles that might be a more value-oriented choice. Overall, this is a functional gaming novelty that makes an OK phone case. If you're looking for something more, I'd suggest buying an actual gaming device.

Good
Feels great in my hand. Looks like a normal case till you look at the back. Phone protection is so so. Ease of installing was okay. Value of money is good.

I got it yesterday and left it to charge and it won’t turn on. I’ve tried different chargers and it still won’t turn on. Won’t buy again. I don’t recommend spending the money on it. It also looks like it’s used, there is scratches on the screen and it didn’t have a protected layer on the screen when it delivered. Don’t waste your money.

BRUH! I didn’t know it was PLAYABLE when I bought it!!! I bought this purely because I’ve always loved Nintendo and Gameboy phone covers and wallets (weird passion collection lol). But when I opened the package it had a charger in it!! I was so excited, I checked to see how many games are in there and it’s like 160+. I always get comments and compliments on it and it’s an easy conversation starter, complete with big smiles. The case works really well, but it is a pain to get on and off your phone honestly, but that also means it’s super secure on there and not slipping all over the place.
