This was a great purchase! While most of the time they were right beside us at the camp site, this pen worked wonderfully to corral them and keep them safe while we were setting up our tent, preparing meals, and packing up. It also gave them a nice place to take a nap (with added blankets) and eat their food shielded away from the bugs (with the top netting zipped in place). At night, they snuggled up to us in our tent, of course. We wouldn't ever dream of letting them sleep out in this at night, as predators could get to them (lots of coyotes in New Mexico!). We did order the LARGE size, and this gave our dogs (20 and 14 lbs) a lot of nice room to move around. They seemed calm in it and could see all around through the mesh panels.The pen is a bit tricky to fold back up to fit in the carry bag provided, but once you manage that, it should pack nicely into your vehicle. As others have noted, the zippers seem cheap. Open and close them gently. The zipper on the carry bag separated already after squeezing the pen back into it at the end of our weekend outing. Other than that, the material seems study. At the campground, we dragged it several times across dirt/rocky ground to put it in the shade. It seems very well-priced here on Amazon, too! Exceeded expectations. *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2021* I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this pen for my puppy, since I needed something large enough to be able to crawl into and play with her (my place has some horrid issues that I won't get into here, and I wanted her to be safe).She loves her pen, as it is large enough for her food dishes and her potty area to be spaced well apart. She likes to eat her pads so the only messes I really need to clean up are her poos, and she does them in one area of the pen, which is super easy to clean; the material is like a light tent material that's supposedly waterproof(?), or at least water resistant and cleanups are a breeze.Truly considering getting the taller one because this XL size is a little short for when I'm sitting in there with her and the cover is on/zipped, but otherwise it has truly been a literal lifesaver for her. But then again I've been lucky to have such a sweet and gentle small puppy who doesn't destroy everything she puts her mouth on. I got this color because it's a very "Octonauts" color type of theme and as I predicted before I picked her up at 8 weeks, she really does like the show and will stare at the TV during certain episodes (she likes the whales, LOL). But I imagine that the other colors are cool too, just not for my baby (camouflage ones almost tempted me, but camo was the preferred choice of my boy who passed away in June).I have YET to try and re-fold it and dread the day that I have to, but it did come with detailed instructions on how to do it. I have a smaller and similar type of pen that I can practice on though, I guess? But as a whole, I feel like this product was money well invested for our small fur family (recall, I got the largest diameter size, but not the tallest...perhaps if I did get the taller one I could see my TV from here LOL). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Zippers easily defeated and broken *by W***P on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2016* Good pen, but easily defeated zippers. We have a Chihuahua mix puppy, now 10 months old, about 4 months old when we got him and the pen. Within the first 2 weeks he had figured out how to slide open the zippers and get out, so we clipped the zipper tabs together and that solved the problem until we decided he should be able to enter and exit it as he wanted during the day. After unclipping the zipper tabs we found he had chewed through the zipper material to the point that the zipper on one door wouldn't close. We were only trying to keep him in the pen when we were both out of the house, so we covered the outside of both doors with tape and wrapped outside of the walls with plastic wrap to keep the doors closed. When we need to put him in the pen we zip the roof closed, until yesterday when we found he had chewed through the zipper material for the roof and the zipper no longer works.
