It's pretty thin, but absorbs water quickly... dries pretty fast, and is nice and big. I washed it a couple times before using and it's reasonably soft. I got it to use traveling- as a blanket on the plane and an easy to carry towel in my dive bag. I think it's going to work perfectly. I could live without the little tassels - but no big deal.

Was looking for a lightweight, vibrant beach towel for summer as using a old bath towel in the truck of my car was getting old. The absorbency is not as good as I expected but it is such a beautifully made towel! Sand shakes off easy and is super lightweight which is important when you are lugging it in a beach bag in 100+ weather here in Florida. I got the orange one and all my friends ask me were I got such a luxury beach towel. This is not a large beach towel but perfect for personally use. I would not throw this in the washer either as it has pretty fringes on the end and don't want to loss the vibrant orange color. Feels really good on the skin and is so easy to throw around. Will be purchasing another Turkish towel as my boyfriend keeps stealing mine now.... THANK YOU :)

I previously mentioned that these red towels are not as soft as the blue ones. I guess I forgot how many washings my blue ones had been through to become so soft. These towels are so useful, and I only use this style now since they are so absorbent and light, and they dry fast. I will continue to order these towels to eventually have them in each bathroom, but for now, I'll hog them in mine! Thank you for this product. The price and quality are terrific.These towels have been used as bath towels, shawls, picnic blankets, and pool towels. They might be table cloths at times as well!

Amazing towel and so versatile! I took this backpacking through a summer euro trip and was so happy I did.Perfect beach towel too! Sand shakes off easily, it’s as long as a beach towel, lighter than a regular towel, rolls up quite compactly, and I’ve even worn it as a beach cover up by wrapping it around and tying 2 corners around my neck.I also use this towel at the park to sit on, on transport as a blanket when cold, and it’s fine as a normal towel too. It’s also elegant, stylish, and goes well with pretty much anything.

Great towel that is lightweight and very absorbent. Much easier to wash and dries much more quickly than regular towels. The texture softens after every wash but doesn't yet show signs of wear after several washes. It does take a different technique to dry yourself than with a regular towel but its fine. Color fast, didn't shrink in the dryer at all, and takes up about 75% less space than the average towel.

I’ve purchased six of this type towel from different vendors, and this particular towel is my favorite. The weight is just a bit heavier than the others I have, so it’s more absorbent. The color(navy) is nice, the workmanship good, and once washed, the towel is so soft.I’ll definitely be a repeat customer from this vendor!

The towel is very thin and does a poor job when trying to dry off with it. It's cute but not practical. Overpriced for the quality.

Perfect shade of orange for my bathroom! Very absorbent and it dries quickly. No funky smells like terry cloth towels seem to develop. The big plus and the main reason I tried these was they do not leave towel lint all over you after the shower. I will never go back to terry cloth towels again. Also, unlike terry cloth, these can be used as throws, wraps, table and chair covers, beach blankets, etc. I wish this company had matching hand towels but they don't seem to.Shipping was fine, no problems there. I will definitely buy more colors eventually to replace all of my old towels.
