I read the reviews of it arriving beat up and was cautious. Mine arrived with the box beat up, but the desk (table) was fine. Assembly was easy. I have not had problems with the center support banging my knees, but I have fairly short legs. Great deal for the price, would definitely buy again.

The cross-braces that give the legs stability can only be placed in the middle; unlike similar products, these desks have no option to place the cross braces to one side of the table. Therefore, if one uses this as a desk (one of its advertised used), they wont be able to push in their chairs all the way and they will often bang their legs into the supports. Not only is this painful, but due to the flimsy nature of the desk it also jostles everything around on the desktop.

overall a very nice table. wish it was about 1 inch taller

EDIT: I love this desk. I have been using it for a few months now and am very happy with the purchase. The surface/top has held up great so far. I like the bars underneath can serve as a footrest while sitting for a while.Similar to other reviews, the item arrived with a badly dented corner, looked like it had been dropped. Returned, and replacement came fast and looks great. The desk was fairly easy to put together, and it does look like a much more expensive/high end piece. Happy with this purchase.

In every other way it is great. I bought one three years ago and it was damaged too. I thought it was a fluke but it isn't. You can pretty much count on it coming to you damaged. If you don't care about that then go for it. It's always been cosmetic damage at one or more of the edges of the tabletop.

The style of this desk is great. relatively easy to put together although there are no drill holes so once you put the metal base together you are on your own to attach. The desk arrived in a rectangular box with styro foam inserts and rubber peices on the corners. Despite the reinforced rubber edges the desk was still damaged. The top is made of a really cheap particleboard with a laminate top. If they could upgrade the top they would be better off the style is so great I think people would be willing to pay more for better quality. Disappointed but I am keeping them too much trouble to return.

I use this as a desk to hold a very heavy lift desk. It is perfect size for my home office space, very sturdy, easy to assemble and great value for the money. I like the idea of using it later as a small table.

The bottom of the desk could be sturdier/heavier, but overall, a great desk. The desk has the industrial look we wanted without looking to bulky in the small space we have. Screws to fasten the top of the desk to the bottom metal frame did not line up correctly on either of the two desks we ordered.

I ordered two for my home office. The tops have significantly different coloured tops and one had a scratch in it when it arrived.
