Leviton 5325-T 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Decora Duplex Receptacle, Residential Grade, Grounding, Light Almond

Things just get flumsier and cheesier every day. These feel like I could crumble them in my hand. The holes for the wires don't even fit my house wiring! And the screws aren't exact fits for the holes they go in. I tried to do the old style wire wrap under the screw and the screw wasn't even long enough!

Needed to update my home with newer outlets and the were perfect and work great.

I was worried that "Mahogony" was somehow a different than "brown". I only ordered these outlets from Amazon because my local big box (HD & Lowes) only have tamper resistant brown. So I found these non tamper resistant outets and tried them. I was pleased to find that the color matches the Leviton "brown" cover plates that my local HD sells. If the colors are slightly different, I certainly can not tell. Not sure why Leviton doesn't clarify the color description more.My only minor complaint is if you using 12g wire, it will not fit in the push hole (many are same) but the side screws do not have a floating plate so the 12g wire can only be secured by the round screw. When tightening the wire wants to "squeeze" out the the side & travek in direction of the screw. Old school setup I guess.

I love this outlet but don’t order the 10 pack. I ordered it multiple times and only one outlet was delivered multiple times. Customer service has assured me over and over again that it will not happen again just for another single outlet just to show up. Save yourself time and go to Ace.

The headline says it all, it looks great and very easy to install. There are instructions that come with it, to help you install it properly. #1 rule, always turn off power to receptacle first. We replaced our receptacles that are over 30 years old in this home we bought. What a difference in look and function. They look amazing and we are happy with it. We are using Leviton Wallplates with it and it looks sleek.

As a contractor,these electrical devices are some of the best on the mark.

When I bought my home, all of my receptacles were super worn out as if somebody was sitting at the plug and plugging in and out a plug 50 times day; if your still not sure what I mean, imagine trying to plug something in the receptacle and its like either sagging or about to fall out. I replaced a couple already with the Leviton and I can plug things in the receptacle now and not worry about the plug falling out. Also, I gave it 5 stars b/c its not expensive at all for a 10 pack and I need a lot to replace pretty much all my receptacles. It also is more better looking than the octagon looking one in my opinion.
