Have been enjoying this hammock all summer. Easy to tie off, have it around an apricot limb and a large fence post on other. Soft but sturdy woven fiber, colorful and stays clean with a hose rinse off. No signs of shredding, fraying, the fastening system is super sturdy too. Easily supports my weight plus my 70# dog (a little over 200#), he loves swaying in it with me watching the sun set and his nails don't rip the fabric.

I purchased this hammock as a backup to fit on a black frame. It came with multiple accessories to adapt to multiple hanging situations...Having said that, I had to use and adjust a variety of carabiners (snap links) that were not included in the package, and was eventually able to make it work. It's both colorful and comfortable, which is really important. I appreciate the wood that alleviates some tension on both sides along with the wide spread--much easier to get situated than missing the target... In contrast, my other hammock twists and turns before sitting upon it. The price point is great and I don't see any wear and tear so far--about 7 weeks in... I do not leave it mounted all the time for fear of dew buildup and a mildew odor. Since mine is mounted on a frame and the carabiners are in place, it only takes a minute to set up and break down. It's a great package and the 5-star rating is justified...

This is so easy to set up and comfortable to use. We don't have a yard so this is easy to have in the trunk and put up at a park without harming the trees. Setting up and taking down both take a minute or two and it's easy to adjust if too low/high and put back into the carrying bag. I like the the sides kind of envelop you to offer privacy while still getting a nice breeze. My preschooler was in it with me bouncing around and it felt very sturdy.One slight annoyance is that the hooks are just a tiny bit too small to easily get on and off. I might end up purchasing some slightly bigger ones because I can picture the fabric getting unraveled and it also seems like an unnecessary inconvenience.

I was so hopeful, based on the reviews. I purchased a stand on Amazon that came with a quality stand for about $100. My dog chewed a hole in my hammock and I assumed the stand had been the more expensive part of my original purchase. Obviously I don’t need another stand, so I searched Amazon for a replacement hammock that would be much less when I purchased both the stand and hammock together. Based on the reviews and the price, I thought I found a good deal.If you own a stand, this is a bit of a challenge to get on it. I’m updating my original review in which I wrote that it won’t fit a stand at all. Since I put the stand together and attached the original hammock, I didn’t think I’d need help. My husband managed to attach it, but it definitely took a little bit of stretching and strength.My biggest criticism is that it looks cheaply made Compared to the original one I had. You can see in the pictures that both ends look like a 4 year old secured the knots. No joke. They are literally tied using a standard double not and not even pulled tightly. Not to mention, the ropes are unraveling.

we have been using this off and on all summer and put it back in its bag after each use so its stored inside. it has held up very well to both myself and my husband. i am about 180 and he's 165 we use it separately and together. no snags or rips hasn't frayed at all

I set this up on my porch, using the bannister as my "trees". I had to connect it quite tightly to ensure I was off the ground. Once I did that, it was quite perfect. I'm a 5'10" lady and my son tried to get in it with me, it was not very comfortable to lay together because the width of the "spreader bar" is only one person wide. We don't mind though because this is a second hammock for our family. I'm not a very "handy" person but I figured it out pretty easily with the instructions as a starting point. I used the carbiners and tree straps, didn't use the rope. Very comfortable to lie in and feel the fall breeze.
