Fit over a 17 foot canoe with ease. This is not a shrink wrap fit because this is a universal cover not a custom. A little droopy in spots but that can be expected since there can be so many variables so best to suspend the canoe or kayak upside down and let the fabric hang a little or use straps.All in all a great cover made with heavier material.

The product is perfect. It's been through 3 bad rainstorms and kept everything dry. It's so roomy don't have to worry about squeezing it on.

I store my 14 ft. canoe on supports behind our woodshed, whose roof partially overhangs the canoe. The cover is easy to put on and take off and does a fine job of shielding the canoe from pine needles, UV rays, insects and precipitation.However, there is excess fabric around the girth and rain water collects inside the cover. l solved that problem by punching a small hole in the cover so the water can drain out.In all, l'm very satisfied and would have awarded five stars but for the permeability issue.

I ordered these expecting a waterproof cover per the description. After a recent heavy rain, I have learned that they are not waterproof as I had to dump out several inches of water from the kayak in the cover. The zipper is on the side so that is not how the water would have gotten in. Water would only have gotten in through the "waterproof" material.I am disappointed in this product and wished that I had ordered a different product instead.

Seems very solid and nice, but it's huge on my kayak. I'm storing it in my shed and just didn't want spiders nesting in it, so I think it'll work great. But it's definitely really baggy on a kayak.

It was a little wide for a 18’ canoe. A lot of extramaterial you have to fold around.

Our Hobie Odyssey is 14 feet long and about 3 feet wide. This cover fit nicely, and it is well made and nice looking. It remains to be seen how this cover stands up to the Texas weather. Typically kayak covers last us about one year before they fall apart. I have high hopes for this cover!

At the price, and advertised as 'waterproof' - it failed the first rain. I put it on my canoe, and it let water seep inside and pool down in the canvas. Nowbto be fair - the pooled water wasn't dripping out - but it let the water in to begin with. Otherwise, it seems fine.

I recently moved to a house with no indoor area to store my 15' kayak. It has been a couple of months that my kayak has been in an open area wrapped in this cover. It has provided excellent protection through rain, snow and ice. I would buy this item again.

It appears well made and does what it is supposed to do.

Cette housse est de bonne qualité pour le prix payé (110$ + tx).La fermeture éclair est de qualité standard bien que semble peu robuste.Le housse est assez longue pour me canot de 18 pi mais trop "large"... mais c'est mieux trop que pas assez.Pour ce qui est de la perméabilité, il suffit de ne pas exposé la fermeture éclair sur le "dessus" pour ne pas l'exposer directement à la pluie.

What a disappointment

Ordered this item to cover a 17 foot canoe that is being stored outside. The length of the cover is fine, but it is incredibly large in the width. I have never seen a canoe that would be this wide and require that amount of width!This was meant to replace a tarp that ends up flapping around in the wind, so I am not sure this is an upgrade yet!
