AMAZING! But less salt please.
This stuff is INCREDIBLE for grilled drumsticks. The only complaint we have is that it's overly salty. We will continue to purchase this excellent spice blend.

Good Tikka Mix and fairly easy!
We cut up a whole chicken (5 lb)removed skin, made deep cuts in the meat. We used lime instead lemon, no oil and used 2 tablespoons of both ginger and garlic (blended in small blender with the lime juice until fine.) marinated 3 hours**we will marinate longer next time. Really wanted the Chicken Tikka BBQ mix but couldn't find it. We will buy again!

Shan mixes have always been consistently perfect in flavor and mix, and these don’t disappoint. I have used the chicken tikka mix as instructed, and modified as well as a dry rub on lamb leg, steak and even in ground beef as a Tikka burger… my mouth is watering just writing this… I know what I’m making for dinner!!!

Warning on package- might contain lead?
Really screwed up ordering this product not only due to lead warning but also the salt content. I also misunderstood how you cook with it. Was looking for a sauce , not a basting treatment

Apparently Shan's masalas are a huge hit with the Desi community is the US and Canada. Was recommended to me by an NRI family member and have found it to be true.Their masalas have a unique taste compared to the other generic brands. Unfortunately they aren't found in most stores as they are made in Pakistan and so most stores and supermarkets refuse to stock them. P.S. I've found it a bit mild compared to my tastes as its more suited for Westerners/Indian-Americans but you can add a bit more Kashmiri red chilli powder

There is no comparison between this brand of spices and any other Indian brand. If you really want good spices for cooking go for SHAN only - experience in using it for last years
