Bioderma - Sensibio - H2O Micellar Water - Makeup Remover Cleanser - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

I am obsessed with this micellar water. It’s sooo gentle, does not cause breakouts, and efficiently removes makeup and spf. Might need something a little stronger, or a decent soak, for waterproof mascara, but everything else comes off in a couple swipes. Does not dry out skin, instead it feels satisfied and maybe a little hydrated. I also love it for a quick morning rinse before the gym followed by toner and spf. This was also a game-changer to have on hand through the newborn stage of motherhood when I didn’t have much time for myself, for which I’m grateful!

I keep this micellar water on hand because it’s simple, gentle, and consistently reliable. It removes makeup — even eye makeup — without stinging, tugging, or leaving my skin feeling tight, which is something I’ve struggled with using other products. What I like most is how versatile it is. I use it after cleansing both morning and night as a lightweight toner, and my skin always feels clean, calm, and refreshed without any residue. It’s easy to use, easy to stick with, and fits seamlessly into a routine — which matters to me. If you have sensitive skin or just want something straightforward that works without irritation, this is a solid go-to.

I wanted to try this product for a very specific purpose, I have been looking at facial cleansing wipes to use occasionally at bedtime instead of stripping my face by doing a full wash with cleanser and water. I rarely wear makeup, I spend my energy on finding the best skincare products for my skin and sunscreen. So at bedtime usually, I’m just taking off sunscreen and the day’s grime, or if I didn’t go out, the day’s moisturizing products. I tried several brands of moist facial cleansing wipes, and they left behind a greasy film and my face still feels like it needs a full wash. I would never want to skip properly cleansing my skin, and I usually do a full routine while I shower, but it would be nice to be able to occasionally do something quicker and more convenient without sacrificing on quality. I was hoping this product might cleanse well without needing to be rinsed or breaking me out on occasions where I want something quick and convenient, or maybe am travelling and need a basic routine. Wow, this product is not only perfect for that, it actually makes my skin soft and clean, you’d never know I skipped my regular cleansing and just used this Bioderma product with a cotton pad before my nighttime moisturizers/serum. It completely takes off the day’s water resistant facial sunscreen and any sweat or grime and leaves my skin very clean, soft, not dry, and it feels like there is no residue whatsoever. I also don’t break out or get clogged pores, it is just a clean, soft texture. One cotton pad with product is all takes for my entire face to look and feel just as clean as if I had used my regular products (a cleansing balm followed by a foaming cleanser and lots of rinsing with water). I have used this micellar water quite a bit since receiving it, and have not broken out or had clogged pores from “cutting corners” so to speak. And it cleanses very well. I can’t believe how well it cleanses without needing to be rinsed, without irritating my skin, without clogging pores or causing breakouts, and is suitable to use and then put on my serum and nighttime moisturizer. I’ve even used it the next morning to remove the nighttime moisturizers and then put on my SPF. I worried that I was going to cause my skin not to look as good if I didn’t properly wash and rinse with water but this product is so amazing. I have not yet used it to see how well it removes makeup since I rarely wear any, but just for skincare and cleansing without a full wash with regular water, it is so amazing. Not going to sugarcoat it, this is me wanting a convenient routine when I travel but this is also me being lazy on nights when I’m very tired or mornings when I am in a hurry. I consider this one of my few holy grail skincare products. I have picked up a smaller size for travel. I will keep this on hand always. I’m not even looking at moist wipes anymore. (This product is more gentle and leaves no residue as compared to a dermatologist recommended brand of face wipes). I’m most surprised that it cleans my face so thoroughly and that not rinsing does not cause any irritation or breakouts. Just wow. Totally worth the price. I was going to try other brands but this product has been so good there is no need to.

Gentle on eyes and skin, yet it gets the makeup removed. No smell. Not greasy. Good for sensitive skin. Bye bye makeup, pollution, and pollen!

I’ve been using this make up remover for about 5 years now. It does great work, removing make up easily. I have a very sensitive skin and it works great for me, causing no breakouts comparing to clearing oils.

Great for sensitive skin and fungal acne safe, I’ve never had irritation or breakouts from it. It feels very gentle and leaves no residue or film on the skin. The only downside is that it doesn’t fully remove all of my makeup, especially heavier foundation or mascara. I usually have to follow up with another cleanser to get everything off. As a first cleanse it works well, but not something I would rely on alone if I’m wearing a full face.

This micellar water has been a total game changer for my skincare routine. I have combination skin—dry on the cheeks and oily in the T-zone—and this works perfectly without causing dryness or irritation. At night, it replaced the need to use both a makeup remover and a separate cleanser to remove my makeup, which has simplified my routine a lot. My skin used to feel dry after washing my face in the morning, but that’s no longer an issue since switching to this. The best Micellar Water, and I have tried them all. It removes waterproof makeup, but it will take a little extra effort. My daughter says she needs something more substantial for her waterproof, so take that for what it's worth. I use it in the morning instead of washing my face.
