Works well and is soft stiff
Went through a couple minders but this one works the best. Takes less pressure than a chip clip to pinch open and apply to cane. It goes on and off super easy for comfort of use and doesn't damage the rhinestone designs on my cane. This is the only one that is also a color(s) that isn't just medical looking with the soft purple. Love it and it holds the cane well, I still knock it over but the minder does well as long as I don't bowinkle while I have it set.

Keeps that Cane in Place!
The Cane Stay is a great item to have on hand to keep your cane from plummeting to the ground when dining out. When out and visiting family for the holidays, we noticed that my mom’s cane would perpetually fall over when propped up against a table when dining out. Unless the cane was wedged in a corner in a booth, it would inevitably get knocked by someone and clatter to the ground. The cane stay worked great at keeping my mom’s cane upright and against the table. The flexible holder easily clips onto a cane and holds tightly in place. It can be easily adjusted to the height of the table it’s going to rest on, holds on firmly, and definitely keeps the cane from falling over. It’s shape also allows the cane to be propped up against a wall without it falling over. Overall, this is a small but mighty item that keeps that pesky cane in place.

Not great with tables or counters with lips, BUT...
My dining table has a rounded edge that extends about 1" around the table top. That lip keeps the cane that much further away fm the table top which means the Cane Stay can't get "purchase" on the table top. That said, it works GREAT on all furniture with straight sides coming down from the top (my desk, chair arms, kitchen counters, pulled out drawers, etc). It ALSO is great for helping to balance the cane against a wall! I expect to be very happy with the Cane Stay

spins around and looses it's grip on the pole
I had a brainstem stroke, miraculously survived as I was eligible for TPA, and recognized the signs got to hospital within 15 minutes of onset. I use a cane not for orthopedic aid, but for chronic veritgo as a result of the stroke. I simply struggle to bend over and hate dropping my cane ALL THE TIME! I saw this and thought it would keep me from having to bend over every time my cane falls over. It actually is pretty helpful. It still falls over but not as much and it is usually my own fault for not being diligent in noticing how I am stowing it next to me when I sit down or stop for something. But this accessory seems to be getting looser or spins easier now or slips a little as I tap the ground with each step. There really is not much to it, and it is not very attractive or stylish. Kinda adds to the reminder that I'm that disabled person to watch out for when I'm in public, I still feel self conscious about my obvious abilities now lacking, my new normal.

Best invention since sliced bread!
Love this gadget. Makes life with a cane so much easier. I have an offset, or question mark handle on my cane and one reviewer said you couldn't use this on it. Nonsense. It works great. Wherever I am in the house there's a place to put my cane where it won't fall over. Even just leaning it against the wall. I hang it from the kitchen island, the counters, tables of various heights... It slips onto the cane by squeezing the wings of it and pushing it on. Then you can slide it up and down to where you want it, yet it won't slide on its own. Made of what appears to be a super durable type of plastic/rubber that really grips. Worth every penny and hats off to the inventor. They should have gone on Shark Tank with this.

Overpriced and does not work very well
Hang the cane on the edge of a table - One side of Cane Stay rotates off the table and the cane falls on floor.Lean the cane against a wall - If it's not exactly upright, the Cane Stay slides down the wall and the cane falls on the floor.I've had to bend over and pick up my cane more times since I got the Cane Stay then before I got it.Cane Stay is not worth the money or the effort.

Nice product
Very lightweight and easy to attach to cane. Holds cane from table or counter, or standing upright from wall. Would love to see a version of this that is hinged in the middle to fold down for use on my folding cane, so I didn't have to remove it when I fold up the cane. Great product!

Your cane won't fall on the floor
Way way way better than could have imagined. This was gift for my mom who needs a cane everywhere. This simple item pops on super easy and does exactly what it says it will do.Takes a little practice but my mom loves that it stays put when she needs both hands (kitchen, bathroom). It is the perfect size that doesn't get in the way of a handbag. It's so lightweight you wouldn't know it's there until you want to prop or hang it.Hard material, can be wiped clean easily.Makes life a little less frustrating.
