Excellent Product and Support
I bought this because I am not savvy with trying to make my own version of one. My bee mentor showed me his DIY bucket version that was passed down to him, said easy to make, but also suggested the Colorado Bee Vac as an reputable product. So I went with the one that was already made, the Co Bee Vac. It comes with instructions, suggestions and support as well as a YouTube video. I finally had the chance to use it, but it wasn't working. The suction wasn't working. After attempting to figure this out myself mid-swarm capture, in a tree. I decided to call the number on the vacuum. Guy answered right away. He was helpful from the beginning. We switched to FaceTime so he could walk me through and visually inspect what I was doing and how I had the vacuum set up. After we were able to troubleshoot, I was up and running. Swarm successfully captured. The product is well made using quality products. Considering bee packages in Ca are currently averaging $165, this will be paid off in no time. And since I do not like to climb ladders, the reach on this has helped me greatly with my fear. But the best part is that there is a number to call and Guy picks up! Lifesaver, especially when time is not on your side.

Well thought out and constructed
I purchased this bee vac after having using it when helping a fellow beekeeper with the removal of a colony. It worked like a champ and we successfully removed all of the bees and were able to re-home them. This vac is built with strong materials and should last through lots of use. The sucking force is adaptable to different length hoses to avoid bee-splat. Highly recommended. And--thank you for shipping to Hawaii!

Colorado Bee Vac is a good value for the money
The Colorado Bee Vac works fairly well and pretty much as advertised. I've seen a comment or two that exclaimed that this machine kills bees. Fact is, most experienced Beekeepers are going to kill at lease a couple of bees each time they go into a hive. This machine contributes to just about as many bee deaths. If loss of bees is your problem with this machine, make your own machine.

DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED BY A BEEKEEPER FOR BEEKEEPERS
So far the year 2020 has been an incredible year for swarms, and the last swarm, our 12th, was collected using the Colorado Bee Vacuum. The older I get the harder it is to spend a lot of time bent over, so vacuuming up our latest swarm, which was dripping on to the ground (see photo), was a piece of cake. Using the vacuum caused no trauma to the bees since the sucking force can be easily adjusted and the sliding sheet metal separator easily allowed the bees to gently transfer themselves into their new home once the job was done. Great product, Colorado Bee Vac!

great vac!
It works really well and is very well thought out. it's relatively quiet and seems to be very well built. My only complaint is that the paint was still wet when we got it. There was some kind of note on it about the paint being wet and not assembling until it's dry. This seems kinda silly to me. Otherwise, great vac!

Best Bee Vac available!!
Best bee vac out there. I’ve already collected 6 hives out of houses at $250 each. Very little “bee splat” if you adjust the suction properly. The ability to place the vacs bee box on top of the new brood box to transfer the bees to their new home and walk away is a huge plus over “dumping” bees into the new brood box.

Unit works real well!
This unit works as advertised and was a step up from my past swarm recovery techniques. Viewing their YouTube videos were a great help as well.
