The molds are easy to wash, very big, I did use to layers of melted chocolate to ensure the shells wouldn't break. Once cooled, the chocolate easily rolled out with a bit of care as to not break the cho olate shells!

**Q: how many ounces does each cavitity of the medium size mold hold?**
A: 1/2 ounce

**Q: What's the difference between the 6 hole medium and 6 hole small?**
A: The size! When ordering check the size.

**Q: can you use this for steaming ?**
A: I haven’t tried that but since it is made of silicone, you should be able to do that.  They make silicone egg cup molds that can actually go in an instant pot.
