The product would not make contact and therefore was unusuable the prongs were too long the product sent was not the one identified in the advertisement and specs. The options given for returning the item was vasive and confusing and the timeline given to return was too short.

This cord fits the Masterbuilt Butterball XXL electric turkey fryer. It worked perfectly.

What can be said about an appliance replacement cord? If it fits, you'll love it. If it doesn't fit, you'll hate it. My original cord got lost during a minor remodel. I ordered this so my hubby could once again have of his favorite dinner. Shortly after placing my order, I found the old cord. Maybe ordering this helped with that! Now I have two identical cords, both of which power the deep fryer. At least I didn't have to order a whole new fryer! I just look at it this way: having two cords doubles my chances of finding one when I need it!

This plug did not come assembled and came with no instructions,. While in theory it’s easy enough to put together, my package also came with the wrong screw so it wouldn’t secure properly. After a lot of trial and error, asking for help from a handy friend and using epoxy glue I was able to get it to stay together and it does work on my butternball deep fryer. For such a simple plug it was a bit of a pain to use it’s but unfortunately there seem to be limited options for getting a replacement for this type of plug.

I was worried it wouldn't work with my ButterBall Turkey Fryer but it does. When I took the storage tray out before using fryer I found the original cord, it had been awhile since I used fryer & had forgotten to look in it. Guess what, there was my original cord I thought I had thrown away. Moral of story: Dont hide your cord in the compartment on fryer.
