5-12V ZVS Low Voltage Induction Heating Power Supply Module with Coil Heating

As with all ZVS drivers the supply needs to be able to delivery a high inrush current to start the circuit resinance. If a power supply is used that can not give the start current it will blow the transistors and then short the power supply as the resistance of the inductors will not start.Recommended for people with electrical skills who understand what they are buying and how it is used

Works as described - when powered at 12v quickly heated the tip of a screwdriver enough to melt plastic in seconds. If you don't know how to solder there are terminals to attach the coil, however this is a very tight fit and may be able to be pulled out. If you're working on a project that you need a 12v induction heater circuit for, this one gets my reccomendation.

I have had Two of these, One was a replacement,One did not work, And the other only lasted for about 10 seconds and stopped.

Bought this unit for a practice piece before building a larger version with an output of 3KW. On receipt and testing the unit from a 30volt 10amp power supply, I found the unit was faulty. After finding the problem, a shorted LED to earth, I replaced the SMD LED with a 2mm LED and the unit works very well and drawing up to 12volts and 10amps. The unit is ideal for hardening and tempering scalpel blades and small metal items. Would have given 5 stars, but the unit was faulty when received.

It'll never run an induction furnace but with a 12v 2A Dc adapter and a push switch this is handy for heating up knife tips, scalpels etc for wax carving - a lot more convenient than a spirit lamp or gas torch

Was not happy with the quality of product at first, lack of instructions etc, seller provided a replacement that was suitable. product is priced for a budget, seller provides good service at low cost. Thanks

Sono veramente sodisfatto di questo modulo, lo trovo veramente ben proggettato, anche gradevole come aspetto e funziona perfettamente gia a 5 volt e a 12 volt,durante le prove che ho fatto ho portato la corrente a 10 Ampere senza problemi.Naturalmente ce un notevole riscaldamento della bobina ma questo e normale in questi dispositivi.Un paio di acquirenti lamentano guasti, consiglio di controllare l'alimentazione,se questa cede in fase di accensione sotto carico il dispositivo si guasta. Consiglio di accenderlo e a vuoto e poi metterlo sotto carico.Guido
