Shave Starter Kit

I’m a longtime DE wannabe so of course I fell for this. Decided to buy the whole kit rather than just the razor. I’ve used it once and am quite impressed. This could be the razor that keeps from drifting back to the latest 5-blade throwaway plastic cartridge. First, it’s beautifully built and feels great in the hand. I’ve read super techie reviews that the posts are too small. So the blade may not line up precisely perfect. I didn’t notice. The shave was extremely smooth, comfortable and close. The other products are meh. It’s tough to supply it all. But it’s convenient and the products are probably good enough. The brush is also OK. Gets the job done, but there are better out there. For a newbie, it’s a good starter brush. It’s a challenge to go the DE route. A lot of people try, but give up. The Bevel may have made that easier and that’s what the DE movement needs. So, I applaud the Bevel for taking a fresh cut at popularizing DE shaving. I don’t have shaving bumps, but I do enjoy the art of the shave and this new Bevel razor certainly advances the art. And that I applaud.

I've been using disposable razors for years. They are ok, but not what you need. I used this the first time without any issue's, no toilet paper band-aides for me! If you want to treat yourself to an awesome shave and truly take care of your face then go with this. Recently in Vegas I had a professional straight razor shave from a man that had been doing it for 50 years. He schooled me on safety razors. They are perfect for shaping a beard and giving you a close shave. If you not wiling to put the extra time in when you shave then this product isn't for you. It takes me 5 to 8 minutes to shave in the morning now but it's really worth it. This product gives you everything you need to get started as well as instructions on how to use it. Give it a try.

Love this product, the starter kit have everything you need, shave brush is beautiful, great quality. Razor gave me a perfect shave with no nicks (I recommend to use the blades included, tried personna and astra but get a few cuts). Even whit 2 week beard, this was painless, easy to use, the 30 degree angle is easy to achieve. Love the lavanda smell of the shave cream. The after shave have a soft minty sensation, love it. Razors bumps are improving, will update.

I can see where this product will more than likely solve my shaving woes, it's taking longer for me because I've been shaving for over 12 years now. Love the safety razor it's very smooth, and the aftershave is nice as well. I consulted several "old-school barbers", as well as a dermatologist and they all said that anything you put on your skin after shaving should never burn. So o love this product very much so. Will keep using and keep updating my progress

I am a black man who has been suffering from razor bumps since I started shaving many, many years ago. It has literally caused me depression. I went online a couple days ago to do some research for a cure. I found the name 'Bevel'. I then went online and read the many reviews on Amazon. I was honestly nervous and apprehensive since I had spent hundreds of $$ on other products that did not work. Every promise was a failure and lead to more bumps, irritation and depression. I tried the Bevel and I CANNOT believe that my razor bumbs are almost gone. This is an abolute miracle and I am being 100% honest. For all you men with razor bumps, especially black men, PLEASE try it. Just once. Thank you Bevel. I am grateful.

I love the package and the look and feel of the shaver but this product is pricey. I like the shaving experience. Unlike disposable razors, you should take your time. The weight of the shaver is nice and heavy, this allows the shaver to do all of the work. All you have to do is let the shaver glide across your skin, no need to press down. You have to change your blades after every two shaves. I like this experience, I really enjoy grooming now with this shaver.

I purchase Bevel because I thought that it would eliminate the razor bumps that I would get from shaving my head. It did reduce bumping slightly but it did not eliminate the problem. I use the entire kit over a 2 month time period and here are my thoughts on each product. Priming Oil - Smells good but its not needed. Shaving Cream - Smells great, its very creamy and makes for a great smooth shave. The shaving cream is excellent but I do wish more came in the bottle for the price. Restoring Balm - This stuff is excellent. Brush - Its cool to help make the lather and get your skin ready for a shave but mines is already starting to shed bristles. Razor - The razor is excellent. I think its the real reason for fewer bumps. When you cut the hair right at the scalp instead of below the scalp you reduce the changes of bumping and ingrow hairs. In the end this is a very good product but just not for me. I only used it on my head so this review is strictly for people looking to eliminate bumping after shaving your head.

I have known of the Bevel shave system for a while but I finally ordered it almost a week ago. The whole process is quicker than I imagined. Also I havent cut myself shaving which for a person as clumsy as me is saying a lot. Most importantly though is the abscense of razor bumps/in-grown hairs. I have been dealing with razor bumps since I was a teenager but no longer. Overall I'm very happy that now I can achieve the super smooth shave that I have always wanted.
