Every mechanical person needs this

I wasn't sure how this tool would do since it was a very large stripped screw that I needed to take out. I have trouble with my hands so the locking feature was a huge help. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend these pliers to anyone. Easy to use and they get the job done with minimal effort. Worth it.

I am a pretty firm believer of name brand tools - however, these locking pliers are better than what I would call the name brand. I was in the middle of a move, very cold weather and our new home with a fenced yard was not sufficient to keep our two St. Bernard puppies from breaking out - both dogs are very big and heavy - all they did was nudge aside the chain-link fence at one corner and hey were free Well, I grabbed these pliers along with some wire ties and went to the breakout area - I locked onto the bar of the fence and was able to draw it closer to the fence post. I was using my full strength and body to pull the fence as close as could. The pliers did not let go - As I struggled in this pull, my wife quickly locked the fence to the post with the metal wire ties I have. All was secured four ties later - at least for now :)
