Works perfectly in my small back entrance. Keeps everything in the tray, snow, hay and gravel. I bought two large and a small one, love them all.

I did not purchase this as a boot tray. I purchased this tray, my second one actually, to use in my indoor garden room. I use on my work table when potting plants or any other task where I need to contain a mess. It's like the perfect tray for this purpose. Just high enough to contain spills while still making it easy to maneuver things around. It's sturdy enough where you can carry it without fear of bending even when it has a decent amount of weight on it.I purchase this second one to use as a drip tray along with the other one I have, when I am hanging branches that have been washed, rinsed and need to drip dry. I only wish they had one a bit larger. I have a large wash tub type sink which makes it very easy to rinse it off. It's a good size so not easy to clean in a kitchen sink say, but I would think most people would probably be using a hose and that would work well. The raised cross hatch pattern makes it a little more difficult to clean without a brush if dirt it packed in, but the added stiffness the groves probably provide is worth it. For the most part a scrub brush with some dish-soap and you're good to go.I can definitely recommend this tray for a multitude of uses. Probably would work great in a vestibule or mud room as a boot tray too :)

Perfect shoe tray for winter or rainy seasons

We use this under our dog bowls and our St. Bernard who eats and drinks a good foot in diameter around the bowls. This protects our floor a good amount and is easy to clean.

My wife no longer yells "Whose wet boots are these at the back door!?" when she knows perfectly well who they belong to. Now when I come in from the rain or snow, I get a smile and a welcoming kiss. Looking back, 'should have bought one of these years ago. Just saying.
