this is the best gel for my hair ! I've tried several edge gel brands and this brand by shea moisture is by far the best for my hair hands down ! I'm so disappointed that they pulled this product from the shelves .. there's no build up nice light scent and it has staying power even in the summer ! I luv luv luv me some shea moisture lay down lacquer 🥰

For Edges, No residue
I have had this gel in my hair products bucket for years..and recently pulled it out to try again. The results have been amazing! I am a 4b/4C with curly edges. Its a soft gel that keeps my fly edges in place. Most important, it does not leave a residue or flakes, so when I comb/brush it out, there is no stickyness like other gels. Will continue to keep around..

Didn't work for me
Sorry I did not like this product at all. It didn't lay down my edges.. was more greasy than anything else. For the price I paid for it I was very dissapointed. It may work for others unfortunately this didn't work for me.
