I wanted to install my ring camera in the backyard and did not want to drill holes in the siding. So, I got these. The metal side is really good and offers a lot more degrees of freedom than the Ring OEM mount. I stuck this on the siding, waited the 24 hrs and attached the ring camera. The next day, I found the camera on the deck still attached to this mount. The adhesive did not stand up to the direct sun.I am still using this mount by attaching this to a clip that attaches to the underside of the vinyl siding and I love the end results.

The product presents itself as a solid quality mount. The thick plastic and metal look and feel good. The 3M adhesive works perfectly (it’s important that you let it cure for 24 hours). However….. Once I went to use the mounts, they were impossible. I couldn’t tighten the position screws enough for them keep the camera up. I wound up using a set of pliers which of course tore up the plastic. For the record, I’m not a delicate flower. Ymmv.Update: I had to buy a set of soft touch pliers to tighten the nut enough to stay fixed. The mounts are fine now, but it’s ridiculous that I needed another tool.

Tried to install on outdoor wall (brick) and waited multiple days for the adhesive to set. When I started mounting my cameras, they held up just long enough to get two cameras up before they fell, which damaged one of my cameras.

I used the adhesive and also wedged the bottom of this bracket into my window trim to support it as I didn’t want to drill holes in my house. Unfortunately after only a few weeks the adhesive gave way and it literally broke off from the part that was wedged in the window trim and fell to the ground, damaging my Ring camera! Not happy!!!

The swivel section of this holder is so cheaply made the camera will not stay in position. If you try to tighten the screw the melatonin breaks and it is unusable. I had to secure my camera using aluminum tape to ensure it stays in position. Do not recommend this item to anyone.

Adhesion was good for a few weeks but ultimately I caught it when it was hanging off the house by a small part of the stick on pad.

Super easy installation, build quality is solid. Works exactly how expected it to.
