What brand ink bottle can you use for this pen

Anything as long it's made for fountain pens and it's not india ink. DO NOT PUT INDIA INK IN FOUNTAIN PENS NO EXCEPTIONS. Some good ink brands are waterman, noodler's, diamine, parker, pilot iroshizuku, and plenty more. Btw, unless you desperately want this pen, I wouldn't recommend buying it. It's a Chinese pen that's probably worth less than $5, aim for trusted brands like pilot, lamy, noodler's, and even some trusted Chinese brands like jinhao and wingsung. Just make sure you're getting the right price for the Chinese ones.

why use a fountain pen to write

They are easy to write with, and there are many different options to suit your writing style. For me, I just like the writing experience. I don't know about this whole " luxurious" thing though, as you can get some of these fountain pens for $3. Also, if you use bottled ink, there are literally hundreds or even thousands of different colors and properties to them.

should I get a fine nib or a medium nib?

Medium nib seems to flow fairly quickly, but writes nicely as long as you're moving quickly. It really just depends on your own writing style though.
