Really neat ice mold! Works great! Mine don't come out crystal clear but that has a lot more to do with the water quality. Still impressive!

The ice comes out clear and clean, looks great with some good Scotch or Bourbon over it! 👍

For the most part it does make mostly clear balls of ice, some of the ice ball is not clear. The ice ball will still look nice in your bourbon glass, :)

It took me a few tries, but I found the following approach works consistently:1. Use filtered water (e.g. from the refrigerator)2. Heat the water in a glass dish in the microwave about 45 sec (warm water seems to work best)3. Fill base just above the fill line, press in the mold slowly, and ensure some water comes out of the top4. Place in freezer and allow time to freeze completely (~ 30 hours seemed to work well)As you can see in the picture with a bag full of ice, several were not complete spheres - these were cases where I didn't allow enough time for them to fully freeze. Once I adjusted the freeze time, they came out almost perfect every time.

I experimented with different kinds of water, boiling none, once, twice and various starting temps. Oddly enough distilled water did not produce the best results. My best results for perfectly clear ice came from using filtered water from my LG refrigerator and boiling the water twice. Boil, let it cool down, then boil again and let it cool down to 120-150 degrees. Then freeze and wait 30 hours. The hotter it is the longer you should wait. Tastes much better and lasts a long time in my drinks.

The product is doing what it designed for. Ice is beautiful and almost clear.In the process there is a considerable amount of water that get wasted.

I followed the recommendations from comments of using purified water and having it boil for a few.. let cool some .. and just normally let it freeze for 2-3 days.. perfect each time. I have an actual container for ice so I can keep making until I need them. It’s not hard to clean.. it’s ice. Once I get my cubes, I sit the container upside down on a tray until what appears to be 3 huge ice cubes naturally fall out.. and I save them too!!

After i pour water in, slowly drop in the mold and it fill up bottom to top, if too much water then just over flows, that's ok. What i don't like is once frozen and remove the ice, half of the container is filled with frozen water.. seems like the container should be half the size.. not sure what the right way of refreezing next crystals is, but i melt the ice with hot water or leave it overnight. Either way seems like a waste of water..

Crystal clear. It looked awesome in a tumbler with a little whiskey. Threw a summer party in this ridiculous weather and it kept my other drink cold for 45 min on canada day….. it takes up a lot of space but for special occasions I love using this thing! Cloudiness in the pic is auto colour correction. It’s perfectly clear ..

Funktioniert einwandfrei und stink nicht.

très facile d’utilisation. les boules de glace sont très belles et limpides.j’utilise de l’eau filtrée de frigo parcontre. je ne sais pas le résultat avec de l’eau du robinetmoins dispendieux j’en aurais probablement acheté un deuxième.
