Perfect size and softness.
I wanted small sponge balls for my kitties to play with so that I wouldn't kill myself or twist my ankle if I accidentally step on one in the middle of the night. The key is sponge balls, not foam balls and these are perfect.

A winner in cat land!
My young cat plays with these every day. She loves to chase them, bites them, carries them in her mouth and hides them. The balls have been stepped on, crushed behind doors and furniture and come out like new. Absolutely purrrrfect!

I was so happy to find these on Amazon
My cats love to chase these balls down the hall. They like to bring them back in their mouth. I used to get these at Petco and PetSmart, but they no longer sell them. Amazon is literally the only place that I can find them. My cats are so happy to have them again.

My senior cat absolutely adores these!
I have a 9-10 year old cat that usually isn't too active with toys, but she absolutely loves these foam balls. They are lightweight so I can inadvertently hit her in the face with one and not feel horrible nor worry about doing permanent damage. But they are also bouncy enough to be interesting for her (like, significantly less bouncy than a racketball [the ball that i used to accidentally hit her in the face with - honestly, it was more like she was getting in the way of the ball or having it fall on her as opposed to me hitting her with it - I was not throwing a racketball at my cat, I promise] but bouncier than a wadded up ball of paper).Sorry, I've done a really poor job of describing how bouncy these balls are; here are some more specifics. If I drop the ball from a shoulder's height, it only bounces up about a foot or so. If I throw it as hard as I can, it bounces up about up to my chin. So, if you're looking for something bouncer than that, look somewhere else.Anyways, it's still bouncy enough for her, you know? It's also very sproingy (agile, prone to being easy to move around), which is a good characteristic for a cat toy to have because she can wildly paw at it back and forth (in the manner that cats generally do) and the ball flies everywhere, which evidently makes her super excited. So, yes, they're pretty bouncy, but not too bouncy, and definitely lightweight and sproingy. We will be playing with these for the rest of her beautiful little life.
