FANTASTIC AIO water-cooled graphics cards!!
I was skeptical to buy this water-cooled 1080 after everything I researched and seen about the pump noise. Well, let me put you at ease. I bought TWO of these cards and boy am I glad I did! That water-cooling is DEFINITELY noticeable! I have these bad boys in a SLI setup overclocked to 2100mhz and they do not go over 50-55c, mostly 50c. They perform AMAZINGLY and the fans for the radiators are not that loud, nor is the pump. And that's coming from me, a guy that games with them overclocked AND my side panel to my case is off and I hardly wear a headset. Its not really that noticeable. The only thing I don't really like is the hoses are made of PET tubing I believe, thus not as durable as rubber hoses, for example. They're VERY flexible, so be careful on installation not to bend them too much or anything like that so you don't damage them. Other than that, I'm extremely pleased! Highly recommend this model! UPDATE: 5/13/2017 One, maybe both of them(Im not sure yet) are starting to make a sand noise, almost like the noise an old HDD makes. As I dont wear a headset, this noise to me, is very noticeable and bothersome. Thinking about doing an RMA.

Smokes My GTX970 SLI Setup!
I'm driving three 27" 1920x1080p monitors via Nvidia's 3D Surround technology and I still get amazing frame rates in all the games I play. This card replaced two GTX970's running in SLI. Not only was it cheaper than the two graphics cards, my PC is now far more stable and less glitchy than when I was running an SLI configuration. Plus, it actually outperforms the SLI setup. It even uses less power. This card comes in a huge box and includes some bits and pieces that I will never use (but the gaming mouse pad is really nice) and the card itself is a monster. If you have a Micro ATX case, check your clearances before ordering this card. I am using a full ATX size case and there is plenty of room in it. As high performance graphics cards go, this one is definitely a Cadillac. With it you will be able to play all the latest games on the highest settings. If you aren't looking for bleeding edge performance (that will also bleed your wallet dry) try the GTX1070 or even the GTX1060. However, if you want to do some future-proofing in your PC, this is probably the best bang for the buck.

Great card altthough still can unleash the full potential
this is a first impresion review and not the full thing since i have a slow FX8350 running this beast, until i get my Ryzen 7 1700, i really wont see its full power, that aside, I purchased this card basically because it was the cheapest 1080, since i was already replacing the stock cooler with a EK water block i didnt see the need to get a more pricier one, after removing the block and inspecting the board i found it to be nothing less of a quality refrence design card, the gigabyte cooler was good don't get me wrong but am already setup with big water and have my rig fitted with two 480 rads from my previous build am running this card on a 27" Asus rog 1440p 144hz monitor, and can say that it is a beast of a card, probably the best enthusiast card out there, i don't see the need to go with a 1080TI over this unless you are gaming on a 4k monitor or playing on 1080 ~ 1440p competitive above 100FPS, i get 80 to 144hz on most of my games, which is plenty, very smooth game play, low power draw, and stays much cooler than my previous water cooled R9 280X Crossfire setup, with much more FPS, i will followup my review when i get my hands on a Ryzen 7 1700 or a I7 7700K, am sure this card has much more to offer.

Amazing cards!
I decided to go with gigabyte again because I had a wonderful experience with two G1 gaming 970's. These cards came today and all I can say is wow. Extremely good build quality and a unique design. I was worried as some other reviews stated they received cards with bent parts or issues with the fans. Thankfully, both of mine came in near perfect condition. I say near perfect because one card had two bent heatsink fins at the back of it. However, I easily corrected this with a pair of tweezers, returning it to pristine condition. Installation was simple save for the SLI bridge. It is, as one other review stated, a little finicky unless you get it on just right. After a minute of fiddling it was working perfectly. I already had the latest drivers so after a few minutes, geforce experience recognized them, and adjusted the resolution all by itself. Temps are great on both of the cards even though they do sit very close together with a 1 slot space between them. These cards are actually 2.5 slots tall, so if you like more space between them you wont be using the included SLI bridge. As for performance, they are amazing. My 970's were struggling to run my new 3440x1440 monitor on a few games (another reason for the upgrade). I'm now easily getting 100 FPS plus on anything I play with maxed settings. All while staying dead quiet. Kind of over kill, but I figure this way I'm set for a few years. Plus, they have finally dropped below MSRP so I couldn't resist grabbing two. Now for the reason I took one star off. The stupid xtreme gaming software. They don't come with a disk, or any kind of paper work saying where to download it. So naturally I found it on the downloads page of the xg,gigabyte website while registering them for the warranty. Upon opening it...surprise surprise...it didn't work. For some reason it refused to find the cards. I tried wiping the drivers and re-downloading, restarts, and just plain waiting to see if it needed a minute. Nothing seemed to to work. So, to the google I went for answers! I found a reddit page that said the version on that site wasn't right. So I uninstalled it and went searching on gigabyte.us. You have to go to the product page for the card, click support and downloads at the top, change download type to utility, and poof! There is the correct version. 1.18 as of 11/03/2016. Downloaded that and it worked perfectly. No need for restarts to get it to save lighting or oc profiles like others encountered. All of the changes were immediate and saved upon clicking apply. It should not have been that complicated to find the proper software. An hour of my life is gone because some one at gigabyte is to lazy to fix it properly. If they ever do, i'll add that fifth star. As for now, they get four. The cards themselves are easily 5 stars though. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely Recommend!
Awesome video card. The temperatures are well managed, often about thirty degrees Celsius lower than non water-cooled cards. There was some worry about noise, but mine is perfectly quiet - no unusual pump noise or anything. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I have read the water radiator input/output needs to be put on the bottom or lower than the rest of the radiator (unless horizontal maybe) AND most or all of the radiator needs to be above the video card. The reason for this is to prevent air being trapped in the pump or anywhere else other than the far end of the radiator. A MUST DO POINT: Just ensure you install it so water is always being drawn by gravity to the pump and bottom of the radiator (where input/output is). The software that comes with it is easy to use and appears to allow overclocking, fan management, and LED management along with monitoring the activity and temperature of the card. I do not overclock, but it appears it can just fine. I like to use things as designed so I'm not the cause of premature failure. Otherwise, I love this card, its quietness, and its capability. I use it for my HTC Vive and I'm slowly working to other games as time allows.

Great for Micro ITX, quiet, cool, and fast!
Paid the retail $650 it goes for. Shipping was right on time 2 days with my prime membership. I needed a GPU that would fit a micro itx build with my Cooler Master 130 case. Surprisingly it fit with ease but the power connection almost ruined it. It barely made it without having to take anything out like the HDD cage. I ran the fans max to check for coil whine and nothing. Temps at 2000 mhz was 75c but didn't want to overclock it to max. The cooling isn't the best in a micro ITX case. Overall I am extremely happy with the build quality and speeds. Pros: Fits micro itx case- Coolermaster 130 Superfast overclock just out of the box Low temps Quiet fan Cons: Only thing wrong is the installation cd came in way blank. Literally nothing on it. Was kinda funny when I realized it was empty. Not really a big deal I just went on Gigabyte's website and downloaded all the software from the G1 page. This may be one of the best cards for Micro ITX builds.

Great card that keeps cool under stress.
If you're looking for a high range gtx 1080 and have a large enough case, this is a fantastic card for the price. The card is massive, but feels sturdy and secure in my case. The LEDs are nice, but I don't really care about them. The card performs extremely well for 1080p 144 hz gaming at high/ultra (depending on the game). For 144 hz gaming, I would recommend a gtx 1080 over 1070 in order to still play at ultra settings. The card, in my case (fractal design define r4) rarely goes above 70 C even at max load. I don't have a g sync monitor, but I don't get any noticeable screen tearing if I limit my fps to match my monitor refresh rate. Can't go wrong with an extended 4 year warranty. I know EVGA has better customer support, but their cards are also more expensive for lower specs. Tl;dr: buy if you want a gtx 1080 and have a large enough case for it.

Amazing GPU
Guaranteed Satisfaction. I upgraded to this gpu from an ASUS GTX950-2G, which is also a great video card, and the difference in performance is beyond words. First of all, the delivery was done properly and in time, with great packaging. The GPU itself is out of this world, and for those concerned regarding the power requirements, I have a 550W 80 Plus bronze PSU and this works just fine. It only requires the 6 pin connector (or 4+2) and you are good to go. Take considerations over the size, the gpu is quite large and might not fit on your case depending on the case's configuration. I have to move SSD and HDD around to get it to fit. My pc is not very new, nor very powerful, consists on an i5 4690k, 8gb ddr3, SSD drives and this GPU. With all maximum settings at 1920x1080 these are some performance references: -The Witcher 3 runs at 90-120fps -Arma 3 with over 20gb on mods runs at 60-80fps on SP, steady 60s on MP. -Dirt Rally runs at 140 fps. I am extremely satisfied with this product, if you have a better rig than myself, I am sure yo'll get much better performance.
