Madeline's Tea Party (Step into Reading)

Adorable. My 3 year old granddaughter loved it and we read it over and over... then I bought a Madeline and Pepito doll so she could act it out! ;)

My 5 yo daughter loves reading this book to us. It originally came with repeated extra pages but they reshipped a correct copy ASAP. This is a very cute book for young readers.

My 5-year-old loves these Madeline books. Story time is fun and they are blessedly short and lightweight (easy to pack for trips). This one teaches a great lesson about how to be polite and to forgive your friends when they act out.

Book # 4 for our granddaughter collection

LOVE THIS! I love that this young readers book is actually by John Bemelmans Marciano (who I believe is the grandson of the Madeline creator). You can tell from the quality of the art and the writing that it's the real deal. Great reading exposure in a portable small format, but still authentic and wonderful Madeline.

This is a lovely addition to the Madeline group of books. As all those following the original, it begins with the typical "In an old house it Paris all covered with vines. . .", but then begins a new adventure. This one introduces Pepito in which he tries to ruin the darling tea party hosted by Madeline.Sweet story and musical rhymes, as usual.It is not a hard cover book like many others; it is the less expensive paper version, but the price reflects it.

I ordered this along with a Madeline doll as a gift for my granddaughter. I made a dress from a knit fabric for the doll so she looked like Madeline in this story. My GD loved it so much her mom found her the next morning in the living room watching TV with the doll and her "party" dress on her lap. GD loves to read and especially loves the Madeline series.

Very cute story, as are all Madeline books. Up to this point, I have bought the hardback books, but this is a small paperback book. My granddaughter enjoys these books.

I was shocked by how bad this story is compared to the original Madeleine book. It’s about girls having a nice tea party until a boy shows up with his awful boy behavior and ruins everything.... I mean really. Would not recommend this book!!

Lovely book to read with a child who's a fan of Madeline

My daughter and I are huge Madeline fans! This book is one of our favorites at bed time. The book is a nice size and easy for her to hold as she is learning to read herself.
