Great for insect lifestyle project
This book was great for my second graders insect lifecycle project. Very informative and great pictures.

It was fascinating to learn about cicadas. I have only heard and seen them once, but they were loud and a little annoying.

Not many facts, repetitive
This book is a disappointment. The description sounded good, but the book did not deliver on providing sufficient amount of "facts." Many "facts" were repeated several times through the book. The title leads one to believe it is an informative book of facts. It provides minimal information about the cicadas, and the pictures are disappointing (many grainy and unclear from internet sources). It is obviously not well researched -- it appears to have been quickly assembled without due diligence.
