I bought the essence and the serum with the red shot first and was amazed how smooth and soft my skin was. There was texture improvement and reduction in pore size. My dry patches cleared and acne spots disappeared. I decided after a week of using the 2 products to buy the moisturizer too. I was a habitual Cerave user and found these products efficacy superior by far. Adding the moisturizer was definitely the right move. I was in awe of how well the products work synergistically. When this goes on Subscribe and Save I will be adding them. The value for what you get cannot be beat as well. My only complaint is the scent. It is unusual and hard to define but the scent is very light and fades minutes after application. My hope is they will come out with a cleanser and I will completely discontinue using any Cerave products for Carla Lab products. Korean skincare for the win!

It made my skin break out so bad I had to go get 2 different prescriptions, including an antibiotic. I should have known better. Probiotic products should not be shipped all over the place in basic warehouse trucks. Bacteria need climate control.

I’m happy to have added this as a second step in my morning/nighttime routine. Especially for the price.

CARLA LAB Lacto Biome Balancing Cream-Korean Skin CareI think that the 3 Carla Labs products I'm using: this cream, the essence, and the redshot ampoule...all do a fantastic job of working in-tandem with one another. They all seems to have the same scent, possibly it's the ferment which is all the rage right now in skincare. Most beauty items that are fermented are in a much higher price-point than this, which is a bargain. This cream soaks in fast, is moisturizing and I can't feel it on my skin. I haven't noticed any miraculous changes in myself, and I don't expect to since I'm 50 years old. But if this can keep aging at bay for me for a little while, I'm all for it.

First of all, my three star review reflects a neutral opinion of this product. It's not awful, it's not great. It's ok and I don't hate it. It is lightweight and pleasantly scented with what smells like lavender. It does not seem to interact well with the skin when I massage it, but patting it on my skin does the trick. I have a very, very slight burning sensation on my cheeks when I apply it that disappears within a minute of patting the cream. It does seem to exacerbate the rosacea on my cheeks a little. I am 55 with normal to dry skin and this doesn't do a lot in terms of making my skin feel really hydrated, but it will work for the summertime. I don't see any change in the texture of my skin. I don't know if I would purchase this again when this jar is gone, but i don't hate it. I'm used to a higher end product, so I'm a little unimpressed with the results (while also appreciating that this is only $15). I will update if something changes after I've used this a little longer.

I've been using this Carla Lab Lacto Biome Balancing Cream along with the toner and serum in the same line for a couple of weeks, and I'm very impressed with how well they work with my skin. The cream is very lightweight and moisturizes just enough after I've used the toner and serum. It does have the same scent as the other two, that smells a bit like some sort of disinfectant to my nose, but probably smells different to others.I've used this cream in the morning when I don't want something really heavy on my face during the day, now that it's summer time, and it works really well, but I feel like it works best when used along with the two other products in this line.I've struggled for a while with some sort of non itchy bumps or rash on my cheeks and some inflammation around my nose and eye area, but using the three products in this line have really helped. The rash was gone within a week after using them, and the inflammation decreased dramatically not long after that. Plus, they just make my skin feel and look so much healthier, plumper, and more even toned.I have combination skin that has the issues mentioned above that I have dealt with for quite a while, but these products really seem to work well for my skin. I don't normally have sensitive skin to products, and haven't noticed any negative effects while using this cream or either of the other two products in this line, but I've definitely noticed positive differences.If you're someone who has similar issues to mine, or just want to experience how lovely this cream makes your skin look and feel, I would definitely recommend it.

this is such an inexpensive but good quality face cream. i’m really surprised at how affordable it is and it bests even some of the more expensive brands i’ve used. i’ve used other products in this line as well and i’ve enjoyed all of them too. i have slightly sensitive skin and borderline combination skin, and this or any of their other products i’ve tried didn’t cause any irritation or negative reactions. overall i’m really pleased with this line and can’t recommend it enough if your skin type is similar to mine. the cream absorbs well and doesn’t leave my skin tacky, greasy, or shiny. korean beauty brands always hit the mark with it comes to quality without breaking the bank, and this stuff exceeded my expectations, so i’ll be bookmarking this brand for future purchases.
