Works as advertised, not too complicated to install
This works just as it the seller says it will. Make sure you can read the wiring harness for you vehicle. This was my first time modifying the electrical wiring in my 2003 Mustang but I was able to figure it out with a little research on YouTube and reading the ignition harness wiring for my car. All that said, I would not have bought this item to start my car unless my ignition had an issue in the steering column which would have cost far more to fix than this bypass. Bottom line, I'd recommend it if you just really want to push the button to start your car or if you believe you can bypass a problem with the ignition.

JUNK!! READ!!
This product has been out for over 6-7yrs… I assumed since it’s still selling it would be a good product. I read the reviews after my issues and bam! Everyone has the same issues!! It worked for a few times after I installed and checked before buttoning up… once buttoned up the car started twice and after that the relay stops working and there’s no way around the relay… no changing it, by passing it just to use button… nothing! Don’t waste your time… not only that the whole has to be 1” big and there’s not too many push buttons with a 1” hole so now I have a 1” hole in my 71 cutlass 442… thanks junk

I recommend looking up a wiring diagram of your car to ...
Works but the instructions are in Japanese so you have no clue what wires go to what so I am going to help you. 1st blue wire is ignition in, 2nd is ignition out black is ground and red is 12v power with key on. Black and red are for illumination only the blue are the actual ignition switch. I recommend looking up a wiring diagram of your car to get the actual wires and also wiring in a fuse for the ignition out wire so if it ever overloads it will blow the fuse rather than burn your car down. Hope this helps some one.

This was a pretty simple installation
I was reluctant to buy this because several reviews were very negative. One even said a guy with automotive experience couldn't figure it out, because the instructions were in Chinese. This was a pretty simple installation, even if the instructions are in broken English. If you understand even a little automotive electrical, it will be no trouble to install. It has worked flawlessly every time, and if it ever fails I will simply buy another. It's that inexpensive.

Solved my ignition problem
Worked well to bypass a problem somewhere in my ignition system. I installed the button in place of one of the cigarette lighters, which eliminated having to take the steering wheel apart and splice wires. Then a wire out through the firewall and strait to the starter. The button is only illuminated while you are pushing it.Here is how I wired it. The wires coming out were Red Blue Black Black. I connected the Red and Blue wire to the Red wire that had powered the the cigarette lighter. The middle black I attached an electrical wire with the provided wire nuts and ran it directly to the S terminal of the starter. The outside black I attached to the black ground wire that had powered the cigarette lighter. Now I need to turn the key to the on position and push the button to start my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. It has worked great for 3 months now.

Incorrect instructions
Cheap but the instructions are totally incorrect and refer to a green wire when there is no green wire on the unit. You have to take a multimeter to it to find out what is connected when the switch is engaged. It did word for our purpose which was to jump out a starter solenoid on a truck that would ghost start itself but I would not use this unless I needed to. Keep in mind you will still have to use your existing ignition setup to key the engine to the on position and you can activate the starter again after the vehicle has been started. Great value for the money but don’t rely on the failed translated Chinese instructions to help. If you do not know 12v electrical systems do not attempt this install.

Works as it should, bit of a hassle to install.
cool. does what it should, only stays lit while being pushed, i didnt like that i had to drill such a big hole to put it in, but it did the job, also had to epoxy glue it into place since its made of plastic, and the locknut it comes with is also plastic so not a very strong hold without some good glue or something
