Really Helps to Cool Things Down
I place my MacMini and SSDs on this aluminum plate. I use it as a base plate to dissipate the heat generated by the MacMini and the SSD drives. It really works to lower the running temperature of the devices, especially the SSDs. I knock off 1 star because the edge of the plate is not smoothly finished. Overall, it works really well for my purpose.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: this was readily available and about half the price of a big box store purchase. it was also over twice as thick as the box store equivalent. blemish free when the wrapping came off.
