My son has a franklin football he loves. It has a thin layer of padding between the outter surface and bladder of the ball. Is this the same?

What about this quality?

I really liked the Quality especially at the price point. The ball has a great feel and was very happy initially. Unfortunately my ball had a slow leak and wouldn’t hold air. I really think this was a fluke because the materials and construction seemed really good. For the price I wouldn’t hesitate to buy.
