I'm an avid crocheter and most evenings you'll find me in my favorite rocker-recliner, crochet yarn and hook in hand, and a cup of freshly ground dark roast coffee on a TV tray next to me (along with any number of other items I'm currently using). The TV tray is essential for me - but it can't be just any old tray because I still want it to look nice in the room. The minute I laid my eyes on this set, I knew I'd found what I was lookiong for. First, they were packed extremely well to protect them during travel. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered ceramic coffee cups which were packed in a box large enough to hold 20 (I only ordered 2) and with NOTHING else in the box - not a shred of packing paper, bubble wrap, foam, NADA. You can imagine the condiion I received them in after they'd traveled hundreds of miles bouncing around inside the box, bouncing off each other over and over, until there was nothing left to deliver to me but a noisy, rattling box of ceramic chunks and shards. (For the record, this has never happened to me with an Amazon order--kudos, Amazon packers.) Okay, I'm digressing, sorry about that, but just wanted to make the point that these trays are WELL packed, as if someone out there actually wanted them to arrive at your door in primo condition, imagine that! Next thing I noticed, they are beautiful. Really. Very well made, very sturdy, and - oh yeah - the tray itself is nice and large, I really like that. No, they don't lock into place and you need to take care when lifting it to move it if there are still items sitting on it. Or you could take the time to clear the tray first. Or you could do like "lazier" me and just slide the whole tray to where you want it to go. To me the main issue of a TV tray isn't how well you can move it between here and there, but how well does it function when it's just standing there helping you out - which is, after all, what it is intended for, is it not? So for me, this tray is a win-win. Very nice looking and performs exactly as I need it to. Almost forgot! The stand that comes with it - what a blessing of a bonus! Most sets I looked at don't come with a way to store them, so this really clinched the sale for me. The stand is just as nice looking as the trays, by the way, so the whole set could be stored in a corner of your room if need be and wouldn't detract from your lovely decorating at all, in my opinion. All in all, for me, a very satisfactory purchase and one I know I'll use and enjoy for a long time to come.

Arrived today. Totally impressed. Price, quality, color, packaging, ease of assembly; everything perfect. Sturdy tables and rack. Each table was individually wrapped and taped close. Attached pic showing how much packaging the tables had been wrapped in. Instructions were spot on; even included allen wrench for assembly. The tables seem really high quality and metal arm keeps them sturdy when using. The storage rack assembled easily. Blends in well with decor. Easy to remove tables and place them back on storage stand when not in use. We buy a LOT from Amazon. This is probably one of our best purchases ever.

The trays were high quality and appear to be very sturdy, however the tray holder was disappointing. 2 of the screws would not tighten. The only reason this item did not receive 5 stars was because of the workmanship of the stand.

The tables are super heavy. Nobody mentioned that in any reviews that we saw. Also, within a couple weeks the rack that holds the tables broke. Sadly these tables are now in the basement. We do not recommend these tables.

Very nice looking set, easy to put together. A couple of the tables are glitchy when you try to fold them - you have to push the bar into the right position, and it doesn't easily glide there (not a big deal). They seem sturdy and the handles are a nice feature for carrying them where you want them and putting them back on the stand.

These snack tables are solid wood. They are either a grayish brown or a brownish gray depending on what you prefer. All I know is that they look terrific standing open on my new flooring downstairs in our house. The tops of the tables have a hole that is large enough to fit your hand for ease of handling the tables when opening or closing them up. The stand holds two tables folded on each side and is a compact place for storing them when not in use. I'm very pleased with my choice and have already put them to good use.

Don’t waste your money. Colour is nothing near the picture. Looks like it was painted with a crayola crayon. When I wanted to return the item, they offered 15% return or I pay the shipping. It was going to cost the same amount to ship as to buy the set again.I took it out of the packaging to get the box put of my way and see if I could paint it myself to cover the horrific colour - then I noticed a split in the handle.I had a good look at it and started to glue it but gave up when I realized I just spent $175 on absolute garbage. Do not buy.

After reading somewhat mixed reviews, I was apprehensive about ordering these tables. As it turned out, in my case, there was no cause for concern. They arrived within two days. They were in flawless condition. They look amazing. They are solid, incredibly so actually, and are not wobbly in the least. While this has not been the case for everyone, in our situation this was a great decision. We could not be more pleased.

These look so nice and are perfect. We use them every day. Came together quite easily and it is nice to have the handles and storage rack for moving and storing them. Not the sturdiest still but much better then our old ones. Maybe hard to find a very sturdy one in this style not sure. But do like them a lot. worth the buy...:0)
