I haven't seen a cabin air filter published with MERV, as you would see in household furnace filters., but if I had to guess it would be under MERV 5 As for micron rating, it will be lower than standard paper of fiber. Much lower. If you want the best filtration go with the OEM filter. If you want re-usability and basic filtering go with this one. I personally went with this and am pleased with it, but I know it won't filter as much small particulate. **Q: Will this work for a 2021 jeep gladiator?** A: Yes **Q: Do you need to oil this filter or is it dry?** A: The filter is pre oiled and not dry. It’s not watery either. These KN filters have oil in them but does not make the area around where it sits oily.
