Combination Square Set 6" & 12" 4R Steel Blade High Precision

Storage case was broken and 12inch combination square is not accurate. Checked against my machinist square and It is 0.7mm out in its total lenth. I am assuming its poor quality control or was damaged bent out of square from the impact via the cracked case . I have neither the time or patience to send it back to the USA so £60 in the bin

These are high quality combo squares, especially considering price. Checked them against my machinist square and they’re both very very accurate across their lengths. Nice weight too, sturdy. The included storage box is great for temporary safety while I find a permanent storage solution.

They are accurately square. However, they arrived with so many rough edges and a tough coating of some sort, that they are nearly unusable without a lot of smoothing work to make them slide well enough for any accuracy. For that price they should arrive in working condition!

Great value for the money, do not expect super high quality these are not Starrett, but are so superior to the basic sets that the value is super. I use in the field and like the case they are in. For field work these are exactly what I wanted, better than the average, but not tool room quality. They hold their locations and do not slip. Took the scales and sanded with 360 wet dry paper to smooth the edges, they worked easier and felt better. For my needs these are great and like the purchase. I have tool room level of these in my shop and would not want to take a chance damaging in the field these are a great option for my field needs.
