This little device here is perfect because it allows me to charge my phone and listen to music with a wired headset at the same time. I know a lot of people will say, "Just use wireless headphones or earbuds!" Wired headphones sound better than Bluetooth in my opinion and when I want to lay there and listen to music or watch tech reviews on YouTube, this adapter fits the bill. The price makes this a great value , it's durable and won't fall apart and the cable is braided, so it's sturdy. It's not too short and the USB -C connection is just right since the majority of phone makers did away with 3.5mm jacks! I recommend this product!

it was really a nice item , worked well for my intended use which was audio output lasted long too just about 4 years got it in 2022 now instead of outputting audio via the 3.5mm jack it keeps cutting on and off on both my mobile devices and laptop , even made me think my amplifier was malfunctioning

I bought this adapter after struggling with an old truck that had an aux cord and no bluetooth; having to choose between charging my phone or listening to my playlist was extremely inconvenient! I looked all around until I found this one. Oh man, its amazing! I've used different adapters in the past and they break or stop working randomly, but this one has been reliable from the moment I plugged it in. Not only does it play my headphones or aux cord perfectly, it is also fast charging capable which I have plugged in through a fast charging port in my truck. Definitely recommend this adapter if you need to charge and use an aux cord or headphones!

Works fine, audio via wired headphones while charging. Sound quality is as good as my cheap headphones can support. I use Pixel "adaptive charging" to slowly charge overnight, so cannot evaluate how fast it charges. One odd thing, I have a borescope/endoscope/webcam app installed, and whenever I plug in this adapter, Android asks if I want to open this "camera" in my webcam app. It's a single click to dismiss the prompt, so no big deal - it's just strange, since there is no such camera connected.

I tried a difference brand first and the static poor connection noise was terrible. This one so far has been solid so I can charge while listening to music from the phone at the same time with no cracking and popping noise.

My wife’s iPad Pro had a similar adapter that quit working, so we went to the Apple Store thinking that we would get a 100% compatible replacement. We bought a Belkin Rock Star adapter, and my wife explained that when she used the Belkin Rock Star adapter, her iPad Pro would start to heat up along with the adapter. We returned the adapter for a refund at the Apple Store, and ended up buying this instead through Amazon, and it has been working great ever since. It’s also a lot less expensive and less bulky than the Belkin Rock Star adapter.

Purchased two to be used with Samsung S24 cell phones. Charging ability is fine. However, when plugging in a 3.5mm ear bud headset, there is intermittent disconnects which requires fiddling around with the male/female connection. Happens with two different sets of ear buds. Can be playing fine, then all the sudden the connection is lost. Despite all the other positive reviews, in my case, it looks like I got what I paid for. Probably won't send back to Amazon, since they were only $8+ each.

This adapter worked great until it didn't. I use it in my vehicle for charging and stereo, but after about 6 months it doesn't work very well anymore. The connection to my phone is extremely inconsistent, and any slight movement will lose connection, even though it is still plugged in. 4/5 for the price, was expecting it to last longer.

Purchased this as smartphone manufacturers decided it was a good idea to remove an headphones jack that was simple, reliable and effective so we're now forced to use such adapters to use a still widely used audio standard. My car is from 2009 and don't have Bluetooth, so I was using the Aux jack to play music with my previous phones. Now I absolutely need this after "upgrading" to a Galaxy S22+ because Samsung decided to save some money. My plan was to leave the adapter plugged to the aux cable and charger permanently so I just need to plug my phone for both charging and listening to music when needed. Charger is plugged to cigarette lighter so it only works when the car is running. But this adapter will send annoying static noise to your car stereo when no phone is connected... Moreover, if you unplug the charger while music is playing(because it's at 100% charge or whatnot), it will stop the music. So I took the habit of turning off the car sound system when my phone isn't connected, something I didn't need to do with the good old headphones jack. Nice technology progress... Then today, after about 2 months of just staying in my car and being used 2-3 times a week, I plugged my phone and started the music. It played for like 3 seconds then music stopped. After that, the music would just play from the phone's speakers as if nothing was was connected to the headphones jack... Tried unplugging/replugging it back again, rebooting the phone, etc., nope. The adapter still charge, but doesn't work for the headphones jack anymore... So yeah. Static noise when no one phone is connected, and failed after just 2 months. Just don't waste your time and money with it and just buy another brand.

This is a great adapter for charging the phone and listening to music. It does slow the charging a tiny bit, but not enough to be noticeable. Charging without the adapter took 1h32m but with the adapter it took 1hr41m (not too noticeable)
