O2 Classic Pay as you go Classic PAYG

Needed a new nano sim for 4g compliance with my elderly mother in law's mobile. I have had her on the 02 classic payg tariff for a few years as she is adamant she doesn't want a regular monthly direct debit. I thought I would struggle to find a nano sim on the same plan, literally top up as and when you need to till I found this little beauty. Easy to install and setup , great call quality, Work's perfectly on a doro, ideal for elderly users who just want talk or text time, not data. Links beautifully to the my O2 app. Call costs very reasonable, 3p per minute, 2p per text. Like others I used a top up voucher to install initial credit. This sim and it's payment plan is ideal where, if you are like me, trying to keep elderly relatives safe but with no regular monthly top up fees involved. Top marks to A1 tribal. Very happy customer.

The seller was incredibly helpful and responsive, and advised buying an O2 top-up voucher and dialling 4444 to redeem it.Before that, I initially struggled to activate the SIM, adding credit online doesn't work because the SIM can't receive a confirmation SMS messages before being activated, and phoning 4444 and using a debit card simply failed after putting in my card details.You can buy voucher codes online from PayPal as a digital gift card. Personally it took them 4 hours to send me a code, but where I am that's still quite convenient and I can recommend it.Ignore reviews suggesting going to an O2 shop for anything other than buying top-up credit vouchers, they will likely try to upsell you to a monthly contract.

I purchased 2 of these for my parents who prefer pay as you go service for their mobile phones. One of these worked and could be topped up immediatly, the other one would not top up. After speaking to O2 they advised me the SIM was not able to be activated as it had probably expired. The card was marked in date until Nov 26. I contacted the seller who advised that sometimes the SIM needs to be in the phone for 24 hours before topping up with a bank card is possible. My experience was that it took longer than 24 hours to enable the card top up. I have since tried to top up the SIM on advice from seller. This time it worked. The seller was prompt responding to my messages. I am content I have two SIMs working. If you order these, you need to be aware that you may have to wait a couple of days before you can top up by card.

Purchased this SIM for my elderly Mother_in-Law, from A+Tribal Mobile through Amazon. Following registration with O2, I had problems adding credit to the SIM card on-line through the O2 website so contacted Tribal for advice using the chat option, Tribal responded promptly advising to purchase a topup voucher from a shop as this problem is not uncommon. I followed the advice given and was able to successfully add credit so thanks A+Tribal Mobile for an excellent service.

Many thanks to the seller here. I got this sim card for my elderly mother, it was to go with her new Opis Push Me Fon. I slotted sim in, but didn't work, so I took sim to 02, the lady who served was abrupt and more interested in paying attention to customers who were already being dealt with by staff, but she tweaked the sim, without explaining what she was going to do, she slotted the sim in phone and it worked. You definitely need to take your sim to 02 if you can't get fixed up. I'm glad to be rid of over priced BT, and welcome much cheaper 02 sim. I really do appreciate this classic 02 sim, and yes it is an accurate description.
