Likes: * This really turbocharged an older laptop that shipped with 4GB of RAM. I am running Linux on it, so I don't have crazy needs like a Windows 11 laptop would. * Reliability is rock solid. I am running some apps I developed on this. I am actually developing a pixel graphics game, so I needed something super reliable and this fits the bill. * Speeds are awesome. They are exactly what I expected. * Installation was extremely easy. Pop them in, and the laptop booted right up with just a quick message about the increased capacity. * Samsung makes some of the best electronics around, so I felt super confident going into it * The price is excellent. With the RAM armageddon, this was easy to afford. No likes: * None Would I pay full price for this product: Yes, absolutely. Final thoughts: This is a no-brainer if you need a reliable and inexpensive DDR4 SODIMM kit. Review: Worked as expected - It's RAM, it worked first time, it was recognized by the motherboard at it's rated speed with no manual intervention necessary. After a month, it is still fine. Only negative is the packaging. It was shipped in a small Ziplock baggie in a bubble wrap envelope with one other item. On opening, because of the size and thinness of the RAM, they were completely missed and left in the shipping bag when it was discarded. Thankfully, as part of due diligence before reporting the item lost, it was discovered still hiding in the shipping bag. So, check twice, it's in there....

Use as an upgrade for a older laptop.
Samsung quality Has always been trouble-free memory for me in the past, and this ram works with no issues.

Second Set Works Great
The initial set I was sent had missing capacitors on both sticks. Even though the computer booted successfully, I wouldn’t have trusted their long term reliability. Make sure to look carefully at your set when purchasing. The replacement set I received looked pristine and have been working great for months, no issues.

Used/Defective Items Received
The listing for these memory modules does not specify a 'Used' condition, which implies they should arrive as new. However, the items I received were clearly pre-owned (worn contacts, HP sticker, broken). One 4GB module was defective and would not properly function, while the other was the wrong size entirely (8GB instead of 4GB). The physical condition and incorrect specifications do not match the expected standards for this listing."
