The cushion is thick and very firm. There is a 7-8 long gap between the end of the cushion and the edge of the seat. Since the cushion is about 2-3 inches thick that is a lot of leg that is unsupported and makes for tired legs. If you have a large backside you may hang off the edges. It is comfortable and if using in your car it will raise you 2 inches. In cars with lower ceilings that might not be a good fit. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not my favorite design, but it is a quality product. *by L***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2017* It's better than sitting on a hard chair, but it just feels weird to me. The cutout in the back is okay, but the whole thing feels like it's too small and I'm only 5'2", 120 pounds. It feels like it should be a couple inches longer so there's not a big drop off under my legs. Aside from that, it is a well made cushion and it's very soft to touch. Upon arrival, she tried to open the outer cover to see the foam material inside and the zipper caught on some loose threads inside and then broke when she tried to release it. They do not have replacement covers, but did offer to replace the entire cushion. However, because she can't drive, someone else would have to take it to a UPS drop-off for her, and she just did not want to bother anyone, so ended up pinning it together.
