This is for the Sterling Pearl color. I used this on a pink candy melt unicorn horn. The pink still showed through which was what I wanted. I got a lovely pearly sheen with a cool silvery undertone. I used a clean fluffy paintbrush to apply. I dusted 6 small horns and one large one and still have a ton left over. I would purchase from this company again.

I ordered the turquoise, It was highly pigmented in the container, but it didn’t seem to be as pigmented in my frosting. I ended up having to use the whole little jar of it to get the rich pigment/shimmer/metallic effect I needed.. I also didn’t like that the color was more blue than the photo shows, I had to add a little green coloring (last photo I posted) to get the exact color like in the sellers photo. Over all, I probably wouldn’t purchase again based solely that I had to use the whole Jar for just a little bit of frosting to get the shimmer/metallic color effect. Luckily I’m only doing a small cake, I’m not sure how it would look with more frosting.

It’s really pretty, I was hoping for more glitter than shimmer (yes I read/saw reviews, but I didn’t want to spend $15) and I didn’t need it for anything more than delighting my inner child. It doesn’t have a flavor and it made my lemonade lovely to look at.

I’m a cookier and have used this shimmer dust on couple of my cookie orders over the past couple months and have never been disappointed!I would recommend sticking with gray and layering on top of that, rather than other colors because this is much more of a shimmer than a solid silver coloring.

This edible Gold Pearl luster powder is a beautiful shade- you really notice the gold tone even though it is subtle. It gives a definite pearly luster and can be made to look stronger or lighter just by amount used or by the weight of your brush. It looks beautiful on it's own and gives an entirely new look to various colors when applied on top. Besides using it on pastries, chocolates, cocktails and art projects- I have also used it as a highlighter on my face, as a pearly luster on my lips and as a body glow mixed with coconut oil. Absolutely gorgeous!
