Just as good as the alternatives for less money
I purchased this product as an alternative to the Lebert Equalizer Bars, which are closer to $100. I wanted to save the money, but there were no reviews, so I determined what I could from the information available. One of the key reasons I purchased these with confidence is the similarity between dimensions and weight. The shipped weight for both products appeared to be about 20 lbs, so I assumed they were equally sturdy materials. The height is almost identical, and the base width (which determines how stable it is) appeared to be 16 inches for both. If they're essentially built the same, I didn't see much risk in choosing the Valor Fitness version. It seems I made the right choice. I did save money, and the bars are stable. The main things I was interested in are:Stability: They are stable, but you have to understand basic physics. They're designed to withstand downward (compression) forces, not lateral forces. In other words, if you're pushing your hands apart then you will destabilize the bars, but this is going to apply to ANY set you buy. That's how they're built. As you can see in the picture, the stability bars at the bottom are sideways. That means they resist forces that move forward and backward. In order to avoid destabilizing the bars, all you have to do is make sure the bars are directly under your arms, so that all the force is applied directly downward. If you do this, they're perfect. I've used them on wood and carpet so far. They don't move unless you push them improperly.Height: They're slightly taller than I imagined. I'm 5'9 and they come up to about my upper thigh. However, despite this, they still are only about arms length off the floor, which means you can't "dead hang" from them underneath with arms outstretched. Unless you're short. You can do rows, but you are rowing with your back flat on the ground. These are solid rows, and you get full range of motion, but you can't use this position for a 'stretch' because there is no room left to extend or hang. You can find other ways to stretch your back on them, however, and I have done so. Mostly I underhook one bar by reaching across my body while kneeling between them. Then I just bring my head closer to the floor until the back of my shoulder stretches. Can't say for sure how healthy this is, but it feels good to stretch a hard to reach place. It is definitely tall enough to do dips, but my knees do come somewhat close to the floor at 5'9. I've seen people at 6'0 say they can do dips on the equalizers and these are basically the same height. If necessary, you can always tuck your knees in a little to make it work. It's effective for dips, that's what it's designed for.Assembly: It took 5 minutes or less to assemble. It comes with screws and washers. All you do is put the base bars inside of the main frame and screw in two holes. The only caveat is that they don't include the L-wrench as part of the set. Make sure you have a 3/16 L-wrench available.Overall I am very happy with these. They weren't THAT much cheaper, but it feels like any generic brand would in the sense that it does the exact same thing for slightly less money. I would recommend it to anyone who is afraid to buy off-name dip bars, but also doesn't want to spend the extra money on the name brand Lebert Equalizers. These will work. They are the same thing. The only part I didn't particularly like is that the grip foam is a little thin, so it's not super comfortable on your hands, but it's not bad either. Just could be improved.Update: The "Valor" logo on the handle grips is starting to peel off after only a few uses, but it doesn't actually affect anything. Still happy with the product.

Bars too light. Instead of making them with the push button to adjust the height. They have screws which is t time consuming. They not stable when I try to do dips. I weigh 190lbs. But they ok for pull ups

Great for already athletic strong people.
If you are a heavier person do not try to hold yourself up the way the advertisement makes it seem like you can, they instantly fell over to the outside injuring my wrists and elbows. I was simly trying to do dips and whoosh over they fell. If you know what you are doing and already use this type of product I am sure they are great. I have found other exercises I can do with them after watching videos for other products like these. The metal is a sturdy metal, and are rated for my weight. I bought them to try and get in shape in my home and I definitely am not able to use them for what I wanted to use them for.

Love these sturdy dip bars!
These dip bars are great! Good height, easy to assemble. All parts are included. The base is wide and sturdy. The feet have two different groove patterns that prevent slipping very well. The only thing I would change would be the width of the hand padding. I wish it was 2 inches wider for when I do under pull-ups, but other than that I love these dip bars.

These are great, sturdy, and fun!
The product came without the necessary screws and washers to assemble the unit. I found some replacement parts at a local store, and I love them now that they're put together.
