Dignified, and durable
My dad can only take liquid foods. And he has a strong tremor in one hand that make holding utinsels almost impossible, not to mention cups. I bought these a year ago, they get used — and washed — daily, sometimes more that once in a day. I put them through the dishwasher as well. Not only that, but I'll plunge an immersable blender into them to make one-serving smoothies, and I can warm soups up in the microwave. These three cups are nearly pristine. The plastic is clear and unscratched and sparkling. There is never any residual odor from any contents I put into them. They don't look like baby sippies. and they hold a respectable adult-sized amount of liquid. I would like to see the spout be redesigned to make the interior a single wall with no corners, but I bought a pack of extras so I would always have some on hand while the rest go through the dishwasher. They are NOT leak proof. Liquid pours out of the spout if they tilt upside down, but nothing leaks past the rim as you drink from them. And did I say they are durable? Honestly, I think I'll have these same cups on hand when I'm in my dotage!

Hate That My Dad Needs It - But It’s Useful
We pretty much never give my dad (Parkinson’s among other things) anything to drink that doesn’t have a lid. These are perfect in that they have a hole for a straw (he doesn’t use the “sippy” side. They aren’t insulated, so will sweat with ice in them, so we use Tervis tumblers when he wants ice. But he mostly consumes drinks at room temp, and these are perfect. They aren’t heavy duty, but handles on both sides make them easy for him to hold and the lip around the base makes them stable when being set down or picked up. They aren’t completely spill proof, as liquids will come out of the straw hole or sippy side - but we’ve never had a spill.

unit is "leak-resistant" - but not "leak-proof"
Well - I just turned 65 and no sooner said than done, spilled Mt. Dew THREE TIMES in three weeks. A pox upon me for a clumsy lout. So, I did some (considerable) research on Amazon, narrowed down my selection, this was my first-choice draft pick. Before we can proceed any further, there are two technical terms you must first be familiar with, namely, "leak-proof" and "leak-resistant". This particular unit is, indeed, leak-resistant, should you manage to knock it over, the contents will slowly drip out, rather than completely empty. But this unit is not leak-proof in the same way that, say for instance, a thermos jug can be dropped down a flight of stairs, and not spill its contents. What it is good for? A couple of examples: You need a cup of water to take your meds. Or you may need to keep a cup of water on the bedside table. Or you may want a cup of your favorite beverage when you are on the computer, but absolutely cannot risk a spill. This unit will easily meet all these needs. So, what is the matter with it? Well, if you drink all day long, as I do, you are going to get awfully tired of refilling this vessel. I will continue to use this particular sippy cup by the bed but shall continue to shop for something with a little bit more capacity for my daily routine, chores and errands.

NOT SPILL PROOF
it leaks easy. it seems sturdy and it is easy for my elderly grandmother to hold, but there is a hole to set air in and it is so big that when it's tipped over is spills fast. I was really hoping for something better that was SPILLPROOF like in the name. highly disappointed.

Great for elderly parent!
The best for elderly parent! Mom appreciates the light weight, double handle grip and control flow with the little 'hole' in the top of the lid. Holds a decent amount and great for water. Lid is not 'tight' but snug enough to stay mostly 'put.'. will get another one.

Cheaply made, not worth the cost
These cups work well for my mom, but they are cheaply made and ridiculously high in price for what you get. I kept them, but I would never order again.

I’m going to order another. My elderly father with tremors and grip problems is no longer spilling his drinks on himself and the floor.

Me ayudó mucho para facilitar el agarre del vaso y evitar derrames en un adulto mayor, resistente, fácil lavado. Recomendable

First drop with lid on spilled all over the floor. Figured I did something wrong tried again. Spilled all over the floor. used the 2nd lid same problem. Not sure how this is supposed to be spill proof when there are open in te top of the lids holes with no gaskets. Save your money and keep looking!
