Goodman 2 Ton 15.2 SEER2 Heat Pump Split System GLZS4BA2410 AMST24BU1300

This system was replacing my 17 year old HVAC where the inside coils rusted, causing the the gas to leak out. A lot more efficient, and quieter. This is only the air handler (inside unit) and the heat pump itself. We reused the existing copper lines, and reworked the inlet and outlet vents to mate up with the current ones. Heat coils for 2nd stage isn't included. It's part number: HKSC10XC My only complaint was that the delivery driver didn't attempt to call to schedule a time. They called when they were already at my house, then dropped the unit in the middle of the driveway. No fault to the seller, as they contracted someone to deliver.

This has been as nightmare they do not tell how much more stuff you have to still buy after getting this I have spent almost another 2,000 to get it put in ans setup. Although I was not happy with the extra cost and the trouble I had getting it in due tot the fact that I had gas heater in the home at the time. I am very happy with it. I did get this and it is too large for my home and was changed to fit my home. (only one motor runs at a time now not both at the same time.) . It is really nice to have I don't have to worry about it set it and go. I like that it can run on heat or cool at any given moment. Living in New Mexico it can be 80 one hour and 35 the next. Sunny and warm to cloudy and high winds. And when you have a cooler it always need the dirt clean out of it. This is self contained and it is the best thing I could have done for myself. The only thing I was disappointed in was the extra cost of for extra parts.. You don't get any of the hoses the stand and I don't know what else I had to buy it some kind of kit you get and depending how fast you need to get it to you the more it cost. And I was thinking that it would help with my household bills but it really has not made that much different it still about the same. I mean I was paying around 120.00 to 140.00 all year round with my gas and electric but now my gas has drop so low that I really don't have that much of a gas bill I have on my stove now and the my electric bill went from 40 in the winter and 100. in the summer to 120.00 all the time. Well it has not improved my bills it has help with keeping my house at a more steady temperature and not as much outside direct air so my house is not a dusty or dirty as it had gotten with the cooler. So for the over all I am glad I got it I am enjoying it. I wish I could have know more about it and that is my fault thought I had did my homework and I had only did half of it. I like how it works and how I am not having to keep worrying about it and having to keep a watch on the temperature and I am happy for the quiet and the air not always blowing to the point you can even light a candle.. So do you homework and make sure your state allows this unit in your area. And be prepared to pay extra for parts and running it. You will be happy in the and you will be more happy if you are aware of this before hand.

I like the unit.When I had this installed by a certified technician, the heat strip that was recommended does not work with the unit. I hope Amazon in the future checks this out. The plug will not plug into the airhandler. Now I have to return the unit and get the correct heat strips. Would grade a five if not for that.

Delivered fast and great customer service. Install took 3 hours. Replaced old r22 unit. Will be using company again for another unit.
