I purchased a larger size of similar product for a 1950 Indian Chief motorcycle after forgetting to plug up the exhaust during winter storage some years ago. When kickstarting the bike for the 1st ride of the spring I blew out a mouse nest. Exciting stuff and it wore out the starter motor (my leg). I bought a plug and have used it without issue ever since.I didn't learn and when starting the 2001 F650GS, also for the 1st ride of spring, I found a mouse had managed to get inside the exhaust (much smaller tail pipe!) and used the muffler as seed storage. My son and I laughed as the bike got started and proceeded to spit birdseed out the tailpipe for a couple of minutes. Kidding aside, not good for the bike.So....I purchased this set which is smaller than normal...to suit the F650's. They work great. At least I think they do. We will see this spring if I put them in before some critter got in there.

Save your money. The one received (left) is a hard plastic, limited to no flex. The one from FMF for a dollar more (right) is soft and flexible, actually stays in the exhaust, and will keep the water out. Go buy the real thing, these are cheaply made wannabe products.

Plugs my hole adequately.

its a plug for your bikes bhole.it works perfectly, fits well. dont forget to take it out or youll get a mini heart attack thinking your bikes messed up for a second lol

I purchased these for 2 dirt bikes in my garage. I wasn’t sure if they would be needed but was glad I had them when my 2 year old helped me washing. Of course water goes everywhere but there was nothing in the exhaust. They did their job and fit the exhaust pipe. Other sizes on the market are way too large, but these fit snugly.
