I bought this as a gift and had no idea what I was getting, I liked the style and it's size seemed perfect for what I was estimating going in it. The texture and softness are amazing, she absolutely loves it. It has a place for everything and things I didn't know needed a place. She's showed me all the different ways she'll wear it, purse to backpack to a briefcase type of setup. Excellent quality at an even better price.

Review of " Fossil Women's Parker Leather Mini Backpack Purse Handbag" Color Brown. I've been using this purse daily now for 6 weeks. It's fitting all my needs and is the perfect size for an every day purse. By itself, it's not too heavy. Some leather purses can be very heavy, but not this one. It's a bit stiff when you first use it, but mine is starting to soften up and not be so brick like (as I read in other reviews). I know it will keep it's structure, though, and not become like a soft hobo bag. The back slide pocket fits my iphone 14, with case and with pop socket. Yes, it's a little difficult to get in and out, but that's not a big deal. I would suggest for the designers to make it a little bigger. I bought this purse to only use as a backpack, not a cross body. But it's nice to have the option. The inside of the purse has a nice brass ring on both sides, just under the zipper on the inside. These are for changing the strap to a cross body. I use these to hang my keys on with a clip! I have two sets of keys (one set for my car, one for husband's car) and each one has a clip on it. So they both hang on those two inside rings. LOVE this. The front flap pocket is great for a few small essentials like tissues, a pen, and chapstick. It does fit my phone by itself (see above for phone details), but I do not like anything in a magnetic pocket that is valuable. I may not feel someone stealing from it. That's why I like the phone in that back pocket where it's against my back. If I could change something, I'd make that magnet easier to use on that front pocket. It's difficult to close. No biggie overall, but it's a small design flaw. The straps are perfectly comfortable. I'm 5'3" and a pretty small person, so this is the biggest I can go with a bag without looking like a child carrying her Mama's purse, LOL. It's perfect for me. Plenty of room inside for all my essentials as well. Small wallet, small zippered pouch for essentials, glasses case for regular glasses, my sunglasses, 2 sets of keys, a few things in the inside pockets. Then there is room for the times I need to throw something extra in there, like a water bottle, a scarf, my husbands wallet and phone, that sort of thing. I love the top handle. I do sometimes need to carry it by that handle and it's easy and elegant. I plan to use this for years to come! Notes for the designer: 1 - Magnet on front pocket is hard to close, would like it bigger and stronger. 2 - Back pocket is a bit tight. Would like it roomier to reach into with fingers (and I have tiny fingers!) 3 - Some metal feet on the bottom would be really nice, especially for such an expensive leather bag.

The quality is excellent & it looks nice. It holds a decent amount of stuff - all the basics plus some. I use it as my everyday purse because I like wearing things on my back as opposed to over my shoulders or whatever. When you get older, you have to think about how things are balanced on your body so your frame doesn’t get all out of wack. It’s a firm versus soft bag. But I like that because it stands up when you put it down.

First off, the bag was everything I dreamed! I've had my eye on this bag for weeks and was so excited to try out the cross body function. There was a small strap near a metal clasp on the backpack strap that broke when I tried to unfasten the clasp to reposition the bag straps. It could have just been I was too forceful with it or a weak spot in the sewing since it split at the sewing/seam work. I did return for a full refund and am going to re-order. I don't think this was to speak to the quality, but perhaps a mistake in construction which I'm sure happens from time to time. Everything else seemed perfect. Zipper was a good quality and the hardware beautiful. Loved the hidden zipper and the slotted pocket on the back of the bag. Truly a well rounded bag! Cons: while I personally don't think there are many I do want to be objective as well. I noticed immediately the bag doesn't seem as big as the pictures make it out to be. Its not as as deep as I thought. I thought it was going to be a little taller. For me the size works. But in case you're looking for a deeper bag the large backpack version may be a better option. I had seen other reviews about the magnetized closure on the front pocket being flimsy and I agree. For the price of the bag it could be far stronger. Its not a concern for me since I won't keep anything valuable there, however, I did have to work a little bit to make sure the magnet closure was in place and it did easily detach. Now, in some cases that may not be a bad thing for getting in and out of the pocket quickly, but not great for security and making sure things stay in the pocket with movement and use of the bag. Overall my first impression was great, although slightly disappointed. I'll update my review when my re-order comes in. Update: The bag was reordered and came in about 5 days. I unpackaged the bag and began to undo the straps which I initially had issues with. The first strap was fine but then the second strap did the same thing as the first time. It was near a metal fastener that holds the strap together and the leather piece broke as I was trying to unhook it from a slit made in the leather. Again it looked like it was on a seam and that it was particularly weak where it was stitched together. It's also very possible that the area this piece is located is more vulnerable because of that fastener that is there. I've uploaded some pictures to show how it looks and the area that I particularly had issues with. I was debating on keeping it anyhow since I mostly wanted to use this as a crossbody bag, as previously mentioned. I attach the straps from hooks that are placed on the inside of the bag. After doing that I realized that unless you are very thin this doesn't work very well as a crossbody bag. The straps are just too short. I even thought of connecting both straps to make it longer but it just looks strange. I loosened the strap as far as I could and it did not give me much more length. If you were going to use this bag it would be best used as a backpack, tote, or a shoulder bag. I planned on using this more as a crossbody than any of the other options although I loved that it was a backpack as well. I'm pretty disappointed that it doesn't function as a crossbody bag as it was marketed for. Also, as I mentioned in the previous review it was a little smaller than I'd hoped. Overall, I think it's a beautiful bag and the quality is beautiful aside from that piece that seems prone to breaking. If you're planning to use this as a backpack mostly then this would be a good buy for you. Unfortunately, I will be returning it and looking for something more suitable for my needs.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. it seems genuine even though it was priced a lot less than other places. The only thing missing that made me question the authenticity was the Fossil key that was on the one I'd previously bought from a Fossil store. Otherwise, worth it for the price, quality, versatility, and conceal carry pocket.

Meine Frau benutzt die Tasche täglich und ist sehr zufrieden damit. Die Tasche ist sehr robust und es passt alles hinein was das Frauenherz begehrt. Kleines Manko, die Halter (Ösen) am Träger sind nicht sehr robust. Habe neue montiert und weiter geht's. Wie gesagt wir können das Produkt weiterempfehlen.

Careful when ordering. I ordered the last available version of this bag, in leather and was sent an eco non leather newer version that is slightly different. This was my Christmas present so I’m pretty upset that I now won’t have a present for Christmas. Thanks Amazon/ fossil for not being accurate.
