If the coaster is 3 3/4" diameter and not more than 1/4" thick, the 4" width bag will let the coaster in. A 1/2" thick coaster will be hard to get in. The bag won't close completely when drawstrings are pulled. You won't fit much else in the bag with the coaster. The bags are sturdy and put together great. I used them on my apples to keep insects out.
