Because plastic pins that come with the kits make your hands hurt after a while. They're just too thin, after about a week I agreed with her. The Pen get here in plenty of time. I knew it was going to be pretty. I love the fact that it came with multiple heads. I've been working with it for over a month, one end of the pin is not holding the heads as well as the other. Be gentle when you remove the heads. It is the one that I almost always change out when needing a larger head. For the price I think it's worth it. I well be buying more. Tip for beginners the pen tip was a good one.
