I cannot go without the soap! This is the best for your skin issues.

I used to use this soap all the time as a child and haven't been able to use or smell it in more than a decade. I was so happy to find it offered here! Though a bit pricey for one bar, the scent is a strong, tension reliever that brightens my morning every time I walk into my bathroom.

Russia must get their tar from cadaver lungs My bar smells exactly like a dirty ash tray or the inside of a smokers car. At 1st I thought it might just be the wrapping but no it's the soap. I've used half a dozen birch tar soap bars now trying to find one I like. I'm not sure if mine is defective but this definitely isn't for me I'll be sending it back if I can. It was packaged well in it's own tiny shipping box, is a decent size, not overly soft so 3 stars.

I am from Russian originally and illy wife used to use it years ago before we relocated to the USA. It was hard to find the same quality soap here but thanks to the sellers on Amazon we did. Nice quality. A little bit overpriced and that’s the only reason for 4 stars. Nice product!

The smell is as to be expected. I do kit find it unpleasant. It’s earthy. Soap is great value for the money and very long lasting.
