Pros: -arrived earlier than expected -affordable price (about $7) -portable and wooden (plastic comb is not good for your hair, apparently) -haven’t used it for a long time, but it seems like a good quality wooden brush. -light, so if dropped, it might not get damaged easily. Hopefully it won’t break easily like my other wooden brush! Cons: -sticker problem How to fix sticker problem: Use a hairdryer (hot temperature) to slowwwly peel off the sticker! If done right, no sticker paper residue should be left behind! (as seen on my attached picture). Hope this helps! Update: 3 stars to 5/5 stars! 😊 -still in good condition (one piece) after multiple uses and drops. -you can clean it with water and soap and it doesn’t break! -easy to clean off lint and dirt that comes from your hair -so I’d highly recommend this portable wooden brush and would buy it again!

I've had 1 of these combs for over 15 years! It lasts forever, is super sturdy, beautifully simple, and a feature that was most important to me (and why I chose this one so long ago), it is completely smooth between the teeth. There are no rough edges, snags, or anything. It is very smooth all over. After years of use, the natrual oils from your scalp help to condition the wood. If you have very dry hair/not very oily hair, you can rub some olive oil onto it if it feels dry to help condition it. My original comb I bought directly from The Body Shop's website, and it was $12 + shipping/tax. This is the exact same comb, but a lot better price and free shipping if you have Prime! I finally had to buy a replacement for my beloved original comb, because I accidentally stepped on my first one. 🥺😭😭😭 And yes, I really did cry, lol. This has been the ONLY thing I've used to detailed my hair ever since I got my original one; I never used any other comb/brush again. This is all you need, and I have very thick, curly hair. I bought 2 more to replace my first one: one for home and one to keep in my purse. They are exactly like my original, and I treasure them!

I have thick medium length straight hair and can use this bamboo comb if my hair is dry, damp or even wet. It is made of bamboo and the teeth of the comb are nicely spaced out -- they are not too close enough together that it would cause breakage combing it wet. I originally purchased this from the Body Shop years ago however after leaving it on a damp towel it started to bow and eventually I broke it because I ungracefully tried to make it straight again. So when I saw this on Amazon I really wanted to replace the one I adored for many years (I believe I owed it for seven years or so). Also when I first used this comb my hair was quite long and it was the only hair tool I used and it really allowed my hair to look great by gently massaging my scalp and keeping my hair looking healthy and shiny. I really do love this comb and find it study enough to throw in my purse daily and ideally compact for minimalist travel.

Let me please start by saying I am a licensed beautician. I don't follow the 4c, 3b, 2a culture. HOWEVER, I do understand the different textures of hair and thus I understand what is meant when someone refers to their hair as being 4A, etc. With that being said, there are just some things you are not taught in beauty school and the benefits of using a wooden comb is one of them. Therefore, when I read another reviewer's post, what caught my attention was her statement that this comb was great for her 4C hair. Knowing she meant her extremely curly texture, I decided to test this comb out and see if it will benefit some of my naturally curly clients. I also have extremely curly hair. So I thought, why not give it a try and see how my natural curls fair before I recommend or even use it on my clients. Well I must say, that reviewer was absolutely right!!! This comb is the BEST for ALL curly textures. Not only does it minimize shedding, but it also minimizes snapping and popping that almost often occurs with plastic, nylon, or other synthetic combs. Because the wood slides and glides through the hair strands, this comb is also good for people who are tender headed or have a sensitive scalp. The tugging and pulling is just barely there. It leaves you tangle free and PAIN FREE! :) I highly recommend this comb for anyone looking to leave more hair on their scalp then on their floor. Lol! My only gripe, if I have to have one is that I wish the comb had a handle. Thus, I took off a star for that reason. However, if you are ok with it not having a handle (trust me, it's no deal breaker either), then this is definitely a 5 star comb!! I will be purchasing more to use in the salon.

I have had two of these combs for over a decade. After all that time they are still going strong. I bought another one to keep in my car. This is great for combing tangles out if your hair is wet. Also good for wavy hair, it won't make your hair frizzy and keeps the wave where brushes will brush them out. GREAT quality, sturdy and works well in the shower too to comb through conditioner. Just don't store it in the shower and it will last you forever.

This comb is a dream come true when it comes to detangling my 5-year old’s curly locks. The nicely spaced tines are solid, while the handle itself is sturdy and thick. The comb is beautiful & comes wonderfully packaged. It’s straight (vs some of the lesser products on the market). Fits in my large hands like a dream. Performance-wise, the comb travels smoothly through most hair types provided moisture is applied to scalp. Highly recommended product for all you skeptics out there. After all, it’s a Body Shop product - synonymous with quality and attention to detail.

I bought this as an alternative to brushing out my wet hair. I have a wider plastic comb, but the tines are a bit too wide, so I wanted something a bit closer together. Since plastic is a concern, I thought I'd try a wooden comb. My hair is very thick, but fine, and very tangly! I have to apply a detangler after washing to get a brush through it. I tried this yesterday and was very diasppointed in performance on wet hair. It feels smooth to the touch, but snagged my hair, pulled a lot, and seemed to pull out more hair than my usual brush or wide plastic comb. I combed the same section multiple times, and it seemed to remove tangles while making other tangles. It took me 5 minutes to comb through the front section, and I ended up going back to a brush because it was not working. It hurt, it pulled, the hair caught on the teeth. I was shedding for about an hour after, which is not normal. I'm super annoyed with this item. It is thick and sturdy, and worked well on dry, day old hair, which is why I rated it 3 stars, but I cannot use it on wet or damp hair which is why I bought it.

This is a wonderful, beautiful, sturdy, inexpensive and the ONLY eco-friendly wood comb out there. It works surprisingly well on long hair. DON'T let the reviews about the sticker keep you from this comb. My daughter saw something on YouTube about FREEZING objects with stuck on stickers to remove them. I was doubtful. So, my reaction was, "OMG. It works!" The sticker came off in about 4 pieces. Refreeze if it starts to feel sticky again. My gosh, I wish I had known this trick my entire life! 😂

the comb is good. but the huge label is stuck to the comb. i removed it as much as i could but the teeth underneath it are very sticky. i am very disappointed.

J'ai les cheveux longs et très fins et ce peigne me permet de bien les redêmeler sans accroc et sans douleur, une fois épongés. Les pointes arrondies sont agréables sur le cuir chevelu. J'aime aussi sa taille et sa forme : il ne prend pas de place et on l'a bien en main. Malgré les grosses pointes, je peux aussi l'utiliser pour faire une raie bien rectiligne.

Nice comb. Nice wide tooth comb which is veryery good for medium to long Beard. It avoid hair breakage and it detangle very well. I use it on my wet and dry beard (not tried on shower). Just go for it. Worth for the money you pay.
